Love the show and the episodes I got but I only got 6 of the 12 episodes. The packaging has only 1 DVD and it is a double sided one but one side has 3 episodes and the other side has only 3 as well. Amazon responded quickly to the complaint and sent me another but it is the same. The packaging or manufacturing did something wrong.

Doctor G is such a cool lady! This documentary series is so interesting and educational if you are into science, scientific findings and solving or exposing mysteries. My only small complaint about how they filmed this was they did their best to not show you much autopsy at all. When the cameras are in the lab, and if there is anything gross exposed, they filter the footage around the gross parts. They even went so far as filtering Doctor G's hands if she had blood etc on her gloves. I wanted to be able to see more of what she was describing and seeing first hand, rather then just verbal detail.

In any event though, what Doctor G shares is very interesting and I had several "AHA," moments as mysteries started to unravel and then finally completely exposed the mystery of how a person died in each case. I could watch these dvd's over and over again. Glad I own them!

I love Dr. G! My cable company stopped carrying the channel that this show was on, so I was super excited that I was able to get the DVD to watch, whenever I want. As a health care worker, I've even been able to use some of the things that I've learned from the show, in my career. Now I can say, "Oh I know what that is, I saw it on Dr. G!"

Very interesting video. Dr. G. explains the detective work as she goes along and helps solve the mysteries of why the person died and under what circumstances. The cases are many and varied. She knows how to explain things so that even a layman can understand.

This is a great and informative television series. I was wandering around at my local Target today, and they had this retailed at five dollars, and on sale for two bucks. I don't know if that price is being offered elsewhere around the US. It was not advertised at all. It was an in-store price. Good deal. I checked both double sided discs, and unlike a previous reviewer before me, I did not have any duplications or defects with my disc. I had all 12 episodes, but I didn't buy mines from amazon.com

Watching her show on Discovery Health was not only educational but got me to quit smoking. I had to purchase the season so I can have my family and friends watch it and maybe it would help them to.

I am a postmortem buff and by that I mean I like to watch dead people being medically examined to ascertain the actual cause of death. In our modern society, a dead body being discovered would be suspected of foul play and would initially be classified as homicide until it is thoroughly examined by a qualified pathologist in a hospital morgue. I will look forward with keen expectation and interest to receive this dvd and watch the full lenght feature film. I hope that this one dvd contains 12 episodes as advertised by Amazon.com rather than six when I receive as one reviewer complained recently...! In the past, I have bought and watched The Autopsy Files which featured the renowned forensic pathologist, Dr. Michael Baden, and also Autopsy: A post mortem review by Dr. Michael Baden himself. Additionally, I have also read the book on the same subject by Dr. Baden. I hope Amazon. com would introduce more dvds on autopsy because this subject is both educational and informative for the general public which has otherwise no access to such scientific information on death and the scientific study of cadavers....! Thanks.

I bought this video because I thought that actual autopsies would be shown from when the show first started. I am disappointed it doesn't reveal what I had hoped, but I still like the show. I have learned a lot of things just from watching what is shown. I would just like to see some of the things she does. It seems somehow redundant to have a show about doing autopsies, but not show any of them.
