5.0 out of 5 stars This really works!
This works better than a prescription from my doctor! My toenail had turned black from fungus after faithfully using a prescription. Dr. G's antifungal treatment cleared it up with two treatments a day. I would recommend this without reservation.

2.0 out of 5 stars disappointed
I have used another of this venders products for years and loved it. But that particular item was not available when I placed this order so I tried this which basically says it does the same thing. It does keep the nail from getting worse but doesn't make it any better.

I got the dreaded nail salon fungus problem on both big toes, and this product seems to control the spread of it. I use it after my shower and it slowly eliminated the very advanced case of fungus that I had. It takes awhile, but it works.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent!!! I could hardly walk. Oh the pain, but not now!, October 28, 2011
This review is from: Dr. G's Clear Nail Antifungal Treatment, 0.6-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
When I first got a fungus I did not realize it. I was so used to having yeast infections and they cleared up with probiotics. I injured a toe and boy did I start having problems. When I mentioned to my husband what was happening, he told me how bad his feet had gotten...duh! I think he shared. I went to the doctor. He gave me some "expensive" topical medicine that did nothing. I faithfully washed my feet and completely dried them twice a day and applied the medicine. I decided to try the OTC my hubby used. My feet got worse. My husband just said keep trying. It got to the point that actual chunks of skin were falling off my toes. They were all raw on the ends now when this started with two toes. I could see white spots under the nails of the big toes and to top it off my feet hurt so bad I could hardly walk. It seems like his medicine sealed in the fungus and let it grow. I must not have gotten dry enough even though I would wait quite a while after washing. I came onto Amazon to look for Tolnaf oil. That is what was used when I got a finger nail fungus under acrylic nails and it was wonderful. I would use it regularly to prevent it from happening. I found this with the same active ingredient. I got both. I started with this, twice a day. It took a little time, but boy I saw a difference. It finally all went away. I did end up using both bottles. I really put a lot. The entire ends of the toe, all around and under the nail. I did this twice a day. Unfortunately, I stubbed my toe and did not even think about this returning. It has. I tried using the oil that I had, but it does not work...it cannot soak in. I AM GETTING IT FOR MY HUSBAND TOO SO HE CAN GET RID OF HIS TOO AND NOT KEEP PASSING IT AROUND. I AM SO THANKFUL THEY HAVE IT. THEY DID NOT HAVE THIS LAST TIME I LOOKED SO I WAITED TOO LONG. I HAVE ONE REALLY SORE TOE AGAIN, BUT I KNOW THIS WILL WORK.Dr. G's Clear Nail Antifungal Treatment, 0.6-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2)

I have been using this product for over 6 months. It has been very effective and several of my nails have cleared up and progress has been seen on others. It does work, but it takes a while. I would highly recommend this product.

I have enjoyed this product. There is definitely a positive difference when I use it, but I need to use it for a while to see this difference.

1.0 out of 5 stars Useless and dishonest, December 14, 2010

I have to give this lotion the lowest rating, not because it's almost useless which it is, but because it's dishonest. It's marketed and packaged as a nail fungus treatment, but the mouse print on the insert states it's not for nail fungal infections. This minor detail has been left off the label of the plastic container.

In fact it will not heal nail fungus. I tried it on an infected toe nail, even covering with a bandaid to keep from rubbing off and help with absorption, and the verdict is negative. It just cannot penetrate the nail to get to the infection.

If you're expecting to treat nail fungus don't waste your money on this.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not sure what I bought - antimicrobial vs antifungal ?, April 17, 2009
This review is from: Dr. G's Clear Nail Antifungal Treatment, 0.6-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)

Do I need both -- antimicrobial vs antifungal ?

If not, which one do I need for what?? the descriptions on the bottle are virtually identical .. I bought the antifungal by accident, then bought the antimicrobial because I'd been using that -- so I wasted my money on one of those .. but don't know which one !!
