First off, I received this item fairly quickly, so that was helpful. Other than being able to ice a bruise right after impact (the most effective), this is a good alternative. I recently had several bruising incidents and having this on hand did lessen the severity and duration of my bruising. It also kept it under the surface so it was less noticeable until the tail end of the healing process. Do follow the instructions and apply 2-3x a day. Rubbing the surface can be a little tender, but it does aide in the healing process. Also, I do have somewhat sensitive skin and the odorless ingredients did not bother my skin surface. A little goes a long way. Getting the 2 pack is convenient for 1 at home and the other where you need it.

It did not find that it minimized bruises or provided relief.
I have had it for ages and I guess it is time to throw the tube away. Not worth it.

The good:
Product does what it says it does. Best at preventing bruises. Quickens healing/disappearing time of bruises not immediately treated. The bad: It is not very pungent, but does have a somewhat foul odor. Maybe I'm just picky. It gets on anything your skin touches... And from what I've experienced unless you put a very, very small amount on at a time your skin will not absorb this, so it will eventually find its way to your clothes and such, depending on where your affected are is of course. The odd: If you stop using this halfway... Like you treat your bruise at first and then forget to keep treating it until it's gone... You have a bit of a shadow that will remain for some time, actually longer than an untreated bruise would.

This product is amazing! I fell down while ice skating and used it on my very painful knee. Not only did it help me heal faster, it made the swelling go down and I didn't bruise!
I actually was initially skeptical and tested the product by using it only on one knee (the main one I fell on) and did not use it on the other. The knee that I didn't use it on got bruised and was more painful than the one I fell straight on! I love this stuff an now use it all the time!

Some Asthma meds have bruising as a side effect. That and the aging process can really create bruises. This product works. It is not an overnight miracle! It takes a few days to assist the capillaries under the skin to rejuvenate.

OK - You just walloped myself a good one, and know that a big old bruise is going to come up. What are you going to do? Go to the freezer and get an ice cube, or go get Dr. Holmquist?
Trust me on this one: Go to the freezer. Ice cubes work every time. As far as I can tell, Dr. Holmquist's magic potion is not much more than a placebo. I'm sorry I wasted my money on this stuff.

I purchased this item for my 82 yr old Mother who is on blood thinners and has very thin skin and she always looked like someone had beaten her for all the bruises on her hands and arms. I was skeptical about whether it would really work or not, but thought it was worth a try. What a pleasant surprise when, after just 3 days of use, she woke up and had white hands and fingers for the first time in years! She was thrilled! I definitely recommend this product!

This product works well for me. I bruise easily and if I can put this gel on soon after a bump, I don't get any bruise or as serious a bruise. It also works if I can't use it within the hour but the instructions are to use asap. Order arrived quickly.
