5.0 out of 5 stars Simply works
First of all, there's a bunch of products out there that make the same promise: kill bad breath, whiten teeth, remove plaque, etc.

I've used Listerine, P&G's ProCare, Scope, Breath RX, etc. They all do the job with chemicals and some sort of alcohol substance.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice mouthwash, but leaves a dirty sink
I am kind of surprised no reviews mentioned this, I have such trouble keeping my sink clean with this stuff, I don't think you should have to srub your sink right after each mouthwash, but this just produces an icky brown film on my sink. I will switch back to tom's or Kiss My face just due to that

This product is different. There is no "burn" and it tastes just fine ("natural") but the kicker is the Million Dollar Test: morning breath.

After using this product with the associated toothpaste, morning breath is non-existent!

That's why it gets my 5 stars. Just works.

5.0 out of 5 stars I went out of my way to find this, May 17, 2010

I went out of my way to find more of this after having one bottle somehow land in my bathroom.

I have bought Tom's mouthwash a few times in the past and use it occasionally. Not sure what it is about Dr. Ken's, but I use it multiple times a day - haven't ever used another mouthwash as good as this (by the way, I don't go for things like Listerine, I'll only use one if it has healthy ingredients). I wasn't thinking "I need mouthwash", I just find myself using this all the time and now I have to hunt more bottles down on the internet because I can't find any in stores nearby.

I switched over to this natural mouthwash after discovering that the mainstream mouthwashes (containing alcohol) are not good for your teeth and gums. I bought it at my local organic/health store after discovering that I have gum disease. I switched to a natural toothpaste and started using this. The pain from sensitivity has gone down quite a bit since then.

When I ran out of the first bottle of this (that I bought from the store) I went back to buy another and they were out of stock. I had to buy a different kind of natural mouthwash, which I was not satisfied with. The flavor of Dr. Ken's is much better and keeps my mouth feeling much cleaner; while at the same time the other natural mouthwash was much too strong. Dr. Ken's seems to give you what you need but is not overpowering in flavor and actually tastes good.

If you read the ingredients on the back of the label you will find another reason that I like this product. It contains things that are natural and good for your mouth. Vitamin C, Green Tea Infusion, Aloe Vera, etc.

I just bought this 3-pack of the mouthwash and our family will be using it for now on.

This product is very good. It is strong but not too strong. It does the job without using alcohol and has a very good flavor.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than Crest, Scope, etc even Listerine, December 30, 2006
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Nothing can beat the tingling feeling when your teeth are clean. I normally use Listerine and other brands but the taste is too strong, especially the original listerine - it reminds me of the cleaning solution used in the surgery room. Also, you have to pour it into a cup or use the cap, but if you use the cap, you have to rinse it with water otherwise the dried residue will show up around the bottle. Rinsing the cap with water is not a big deal, however, the cap bottle now is considered contaminated after you it touches the tap water. Some people also stay away from Listerine and so on because it contains alcohol.

Dr. Ken's has no alcohol, all natural but it still kills germs/bacteria and I notice the same effect of cleaning teeth and no bad breath. Not much punch as Listerine, no lysol smell either.

After taste is great and the biggest thing for me is that you can squirt it to your mouth, close back the cap and no more messy clean up. This packagecomes in 3 bottles, perfect for home, work and car at least for me.

However, I believe Dr. Ken's is more expensive than other brands out there but for me - hygiene is important so I will buy this again.

3.0 out of 5 stars expensive, but works, July 21, 2011
This review is from: Dr. Ken's All Natural Maximum Care Mouthwash, Spearmint Cool, 16.9-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3) (Health and Beauty)
This is by far my favorite mouthwash. I've tried scope, listerine, Tom's etc. nothing comes close.

It does get rid of morning breath; however, I don't like the price tag for this simple mouthwash. It seems extremely over-priced for the ingredients:

Kosher vegetable glycerine , aloe barbadensis leaf extract , vitamin C camellia senensis leaf extract (green tea infustion) , zinc chloride , sodium bicarbonate , papain , citric acid , propionic acid . Inactive Ingredient: Purified water.

I could make my own concoction of green tea + lemon juice + baking soda + glycerin mouthwash for a lot less than $7/8.

I'm over 50 and I've tried them all.
Ken's is good for your mouth. Read the label, it speaks for itself.
