They didn't wow me, but I still like them. I bought them because I wanted something that would last a while and also have ESD protection. They feel comfortable for steel toe boots, but it took a couple weeks to really get used to them. The weight difference between these and sneakers is very noticeable, so keep that in mind if you are switching from light shoes. After wearing them for a month, the weight is no longer an issue, but the first week was a bit rough. So far, I have scuffed up the toes pretty good, but there are no tears, no holes, and no loose stitching. I want to say that these are more comfortable than the steel toe boots I have worn in the past, but there are over ten years between these and the last pair of boots I wore.

I've worn docs for decades, but this was my first time buying them by mail. I can tell you that my pair was EXACTLY what I expected, in perfect condition with no surprises, except the low price.

I'll only buy Docs,

I've owned a few pairs of Docs in the past, but hadn't owned a pair in while until I bought a pair of these. After the initial break in, they are amazing. I can't believe I was away from Docs for so long. I never wanted to even bother with other brands after knowing what Docs are like, I just didn't want to take a chance on something I wasn't going to be satisfied in. I didn't expect to be disappointed with Docs. And after owning these, I still won't bother with other brands. Sure, maybe for casual and such, but for work or everyday wear, Docs is my only choice. Breaking in doesn't mean wearing them for 8 hours a day for a week straight. Break them in gradually and your feet will thank you. If you have a high arch like I sorta do, you'll want some Dr. Scholls or something. 2 Dr.s later my feet have been happy as can be. I can work my job consistently without sore feet (my legs are another issue). They are a bit heavy, yes, but they have a steel toe, people. You want a comfortable work boot, get these. I don't know how they compare to other work boot brands out there as far as how much of a beating they can take, but really, no boot is indestructible. One thing I've learned over the years though is you get what you pay for. You buy a $20 boot, you get a $20 dollar boot.

I purchased these off Amazon for $54 a couple years ago. After a year and a half of shopfloor walking the insides had worn off and the steel plate started rubbing my toes and ruining socks. Still look good though.

Nice boots for the money.
Plan on replacing the insoles when you get these. The ones that come in it are about as thick as a folded in half papertowel

I like them - they look just like the picture, are reasonably comfy for a steel toe boot. I have normal width feet and they hurt the toes after a day of wearing. My pinky toes don't like them. They are the cooler looking steel toe out there.
Edit - a couple years later they've broken in nicely but man oh man they scrunch your toes after walking around a plant all day. Can;t wait to get them off.

More than a month later I have not yet had the pleasure of using this item. I ordered boots and received shoe. The return process was cumbersome and ineffective, till this date this issue had not been resolved. I have had to pay out of pocket in order to return this product.
