After the first day of wearing them, my husband said, "These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned." They run a little on the large side which we only knew because we tried them on before we purchased them from the internet. My husband loves these shoes!

If you are a Dr. Martens fan then you know the excellent boots they produce. This loafer has the same style, fit and feel. The width of the shoe in front gives plenty of space for the toes. Your feet feel protected and walking is easy and comfortable. If you like the style you won't find a better shoe for the price.

I've owned almost a dozen pairs of Doc Martens but this is their best ever IMHO. Its the only pair of shoes that I never feel tired of and never in a hurry to them off so I relate to how one fellow reviewer's husband feels when he wears them even at home.

Its so good I decided to buy another pair but alas, its EOL in Singapore and is no longer available.

I went on to buy the Neil Slip On ([...]) which is almost as good except that its tighter around the sides.

My next pair would either be the Zac or the Tevin.

I have mixed feelings about these shoes. On one hand, I love them because they are very comfortable, they look great and they're easy to slip on. I like them so much that I am considering buying them again for the third year in a row... which is what I don't like. Almost like clock work the soles breakdown and crack after one year of use right at the balls of my feet. It's not just a small crack and I'm not complaining about cosmetics, this is a giant crack that I can put my finger in and which rain/snow/slush get in and make my feet wet. In full disclosure, I do wear these shoes quite a bit over the course of the year which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 3. If you put them through medium use, you could probably expect 2 years out of them. One more point for clarity, the leather on the top of the shoe has held up great for me and still looks good the weakness is strictly with the sole of the shoe which makes it more of a bummer having to throw away a good looking shoe.

The manufacturer offers lifetime warranty on some of their products but this isn't one of them.

I've been wearing Dr Marten's for over 15 years, and in that time have owned over 20 different pairs. I started wearing the Orson Loafer a couple years ago, and will continue to have these on my feet for as long as they're available. The Orson model is next to impossible to find in any brick & mortar store, and the e-stores that have them don't normally ship to Canada. For this reason, I was ecstatic to find them here on Amazon.

Although the Dr. Martens of today no longer have the longevity / durability of those that were manufactured in England years ago; these shoes will still provide you with 1-2 years of comfort, and classic style -- if cared for properly.

I love Docs! Not all, but these fit in the category of good looking Dr. Martens. I just received the shoes, so I can't comment on longevity, but initial comfort is great. The shoes are the perfect mixture of class and ruggedness that I was looking for. The left shoe had some damages even though I bought them new. This deals more with the seller than the shoes, but it really pissed me off.

These shoes were bought for my husband (VERY picky) and needles to say he just wears them all the time. One day he wore them as slippers, all day long at home with his lounge clothes, he said they are that comfortable!!

From the moment I opened the box I could wear these shoes all day without sore feet. As a bonus they have good traction on ice.
