I liked the soup very much, however, one annoying fact is that the bottom of the paper container leaks when cooking in the microwave. Had this happen to me twice so from now on I just empty the contents in my own microwavable bowl. Works better.

Dr. McDougall's soups are perfect for the vegan on-the-go! Like the cup of soup everyone else eats, but better for you. Just take my advice and buy 2 packs on auto-ship every month.

This is great convenience food. We're a mixed family (vegan and non-vegans can peacefully coexist!), but we both like this soup. It's quick, easy, and much better for you than other brands of instant noodle soups. Perfect for when I wake up late and am looking for something to throw in my bag for lunch. Quality doesn't come cheap. But buying from Amazon makes it cheaper.

Good tasting and I'll order again. However, I have tried cooking several of Dr. McDougall's soups in the microwave and they
always boil over and make a mess. I have lowered the microwave cooking temp and still they boil over. I set the soup cup
inside a regular glass soup boil to catch the boil over, but still you lose some of the soup broth. The best way to cook the
cup of soup is to boil the water and pour directly into the cup of soup up to the fill line. Then close the soup cup lid and
let it set for at least 5 min--8 min is better.

Another of Dr. McDougall's soup variations. Others I have purchased through Amazon include Curry, Miso Ramen, Lentil Couscous and Black Bean with Lime. Through Amazon they come six in a package. Prices vary between 8 and 11 dollars. At the Whole Foods in my area these sell for $1.89 each individually. At that price 6 X $1.89 = $11.34 so from Amazon the price is quite competitive and with the Prime membership the service is excellent.

As a vegan who admires Dr. McDougall, I really wanted to like this soup. Unfortunately, it was bland with a bitter aftertaste. It didn't taste anything like I remember chicken soup tasting. At least it wasn't overly salty like many soup-in-a-cup packages. The only think that tasted good about this soup were the corn kernels. I had bought 2 containers of soup, but will give away the 2nd next time there's a food drive.

All of the soups from this company taste great and are great for you! Goodbye Campbell's and Progresso, Hello Healthy soup! I want to say this "tastes just like chicken" but that would be an insult. These taste WAY better than ANY chicken noodle soup variety out there. The light sodium is also great. These are yummy, filling, and easy to make. They may seem expensive but this Amazon price is fantastic! I always see them for around $2, which is a little too much for my budget. This price is a bit better and affordable for vegans like me!

All I can say is that this is weird tasting. I was looking for a low-sodium ramen noodle type soup, and even the sodium content is not that low (360mg). I'll stick to the low-sodium version of the brand in the red & white can at only 140mg--you know, the brand with the rosy-cheeked kids?

I buy a lot of vegetarian and vegan products so I'm used to making an adjustment for the taste but this was really an awful product. It not only did not taste like "chicken noodle soup," it tasted like spoiled food.

This soup is absolutely delicious! I'm really glad I tried it, and I will continue buying it. It really does taste just like chicken soup. I'm a vegetarian (20 years) and I love knowing I'm not eating a chicken!

I love this soup, it's not identical to a real chicken soup because I think it's even better, I'm vegan and this soup is amazing especially if you don't have time to cook or you are lazy like me lol, I gave this soup to my sister (she's a carnivore) without telling her it was vegan , and she ate it ALL! And even asked for more , the only problem I had was putting it in the microwave... It made a mess, I think the water got high on the cup and smear all over the microwave plate, but any other than that you can use hot water and wait a couple of minutes and that's it, it actually was faster than putting it on the microwave . Thanks for making this soup :)
