Before I tried the Dr. Melina bars I would generally eat those disgusting low carb bars. I was just so afraid of eating any sugars or carbs. But after I changed my diet from low carb, to a more balanced one, I started allowing more carbs back into my life, and changed bars to reflect that.

I eat these bars every day. They're delicious. They taste like a healthy...

I had high expectations for this item but it did not deliver as expected. See my problem with this bar is that the first ingredient is syrup and that is not a good thing, evidently it was too sweet for me and the fractionated palm kernel oil just added to the fact that it has saturated fat.
I am going tom try another bar (purefit of you are interested) in hopes that...

Before I tried the Dr. Melina bars I would generally eat those disgusting low carb bars. I was just so afraid of eating any sugars or carbs. But after I changed my diet from low carb, to a more balanced one, I started allowing more carbs back into my life, and changed bars to reflect that.

I eat these bars every day. They're delicious. They taste like a healthy candy bar, meaning they taste great, but they aren't too sugary, or make you feel gross after eating them.

What I also love about these bars is they keep you full for a long time. If I have one at around 3pm, then I have no hunger until dinner time.

Oh by the way, now that I balanced out my diet, and while I've been eating the Dr. Melina Bars I've actually lost an additional 10 lbs, AND I love what I eat!

P.S. Chocolate Peanut butter is my favorite!

This is a great all-around bar, which seems to have balanced all the important stuff perfectly: good taste, fills you up, low sugar, low calories, and lots of protein. These are the most important things nutritionally, in my opinion. It is great after a workout (to bridge you to your next meal), as a between-meal snack, or even as breakfast in a pinch (in which case I might eat two of them). The chocolate flavor is a real bonus, as are the anti-oxidant properties of the acia. Great product.

I actually go to Dr. Melina since I live in SF Bay Area and think her book is really smart, and easy to understand and follow with real food. I trust her because she makes sense with her dieting tips and I've already seen some weight-loss and what she says is based on truth, since I have followed a similar diet in the past, but it was based on shakes and not real food, but I loss a ton of weight....I went to her in order to get the actual food version of what I had in shakes only, so I can learn to eat and lose for good this time.

During my office visit, as a try, she gave me a couple of these bars, and though I haven't tried the Lemon Raspberry yet, I did try the Cinnamon Almond. It was absolutely DELICIOUS and I hate bars...especially Pria and SoyJoy (taste like nasty cardboard covered in plastic goop). I was on BART eating it, since I was running late to an appointment and didn't have lunch. I felt like I was eating a cinnamonney treat. I don't think I can eat any other bars anymore and will try the other just to see if they are as good; I'm not crazy about Chocolate Bars unless it's Atkins Dark Chocolate Brownie, which is the best I've ever tried. And, because I'm diabetic and have a thyroid condition, its more challenging for me to lose weight easily, but cinnamon does help the blood-sugar control with diabetes so I think this bar will help me in more than providing pre-workout energy or missed meal emergency nutrition. In fact, I'm signing up for the auto-delivery on these bars because she is becoming more popular and I just know that she will be selling out on this product very VERY SOON. Love love LOVE Dr. Melina.

As a personal trainer, I am also looking for TRULY healthy nutritional bars to recommend to my clients that still taste good. Dr. Melina's bars fit this criteria, in fact, they are so good, I can't keep them in my studio. Here's what I like about them: (1) The calorie content is perfect for a snack bar. Many bars have too many calories to be eaten as a snack, but don't satisfy as a full meal. (2) It has the perfect ratio of carbohydrates, fat, protein and is made with whey protein (the best in my opinion), (3) finally, they taste great.....I often eat them to satisfy my sweet tooth (esp. the choc/peanut- they are addictive). These bars taste amazing, have a low calorie count and are nutritionally balanced. They are high in fiber and protein. I've tried all flavors and like the Acai the best. I keep a bar in my purse and one in my car just in case I need lunch on the run or my blood sugar drops.

These bars are great...the cinnamon almond is my personal favorite. I've looked at the labels and tried a lot of nutrition bars, and these not only taste great but also have the best combination of nutrients I have been able to find. A nutritionist I saw recommended that I find a bar that has less than 200 cal, at least 7 grams protein and less than 14 grams sugar, and these fit the bill, unlike many bars I find in Whole Foods or Trader Joe's,which either don't have enough protein or have too many sugars or too many calories or not enough fiber (even some have high fructose corn syrup). The taste and texture is similar to some Luna Bars, but chewier (so takes longer to eat, which is good!). I keep them in the car or my gym bag for an afternoon snack. Thanks Dr. Melina!

This product is delicious, especially the chocolate-peanut ones. I think this is an excellent way to get one's protein (14 g), fiber (5 g), and tastes better than most other nutrition bars I've tried. It is low in calories (180) and has no high fructose corn syrup. Would definitely buy again.

These things taste great. I have tried the lemon raspberry and cinnamon almond, and both are delicious, but I prefer this one. My only problem with them is eating one makes me want another! Hope they will be available in grocery stores soon.

Dr. Melina's protein bars are exactly what I have been looking for. Low calorie, GREAT tasting, and excellent quality ingredients. I have been on her program and have loss 25 pounds. Her protein bars get me through those tough afternoons and mornings when I do not have time to buy something of good quality to eat. I can take them anywhere. I've shared these at my work place and they all love them too. These are great for anyone...my kids love these as a snack for school. No high fructose sugars.
