I have 10 month old boy/girl twins, and my daughter loves this brush. Any time I put it on my finger, she wants to have it in her mouth. It must feel good to her teething gums. It seems like a quality product. I haven't seen any bristles come off. My son, on the other hand, won't let me come near him with it, but I still give it 5 stars because I don't see that as being the brush's fault.
