3.0 out of 5 stars A little about thoroughbred horse racing, September 21, 2006
This review is from: Dr. Nightingale Goes the Distance (Dr. Nightingale Mystery) (Paperback)
This book puts Deirdre in the middle of the thoroughbred horse racing world. Parts of the book were OK, but the mystery was rushed and disjointed. My biggest complaint about the books in this series is that they are all rushed, and there's no plot buildup at all. Also, Deirdr is a bit of a flake, as is evidenced by her reaction to running into an old boyfried. It's a little like junk food in the reading world. I will read a bit more in the series because I like the animals that are in it. I can only hope thast there will be an improvement in the plots.
