For years, I have suffered from moderate acne breakouts and I have tried a lot of different products. None of them helped with the breakouts. Probably because the majority of acne products and soaps on the market have some kind of anti-bacterial formula in them, and that's not going to help you if your acne *isn't* caused by bacteria.
I bought Dr. Ohhira's kampuku soap on a whim of desperation and didn't really expect it to work. Boy... was I wrong! I've been using this soap for about my month. My skin is clearer. It feels CLEAN. There is no odor and it doesn't leave this film on your skin. And it's done a lot for my acne. The acne isn't completely gone (yet!), but it keeps getting better every day. Best of all? It's prevented more acne from appearing. You can feel the soap closing the pores on your face and keeping the moisture in. I just cannot stop saying good things about this soap. If you have skin problems of any kind, try this soap. Come on. I dare you!

I have a long history of skin woes dating back to infancy. My worst problem now is rosacea. My skin instantly felt better and looked less red after one use. I can't wait to see how it will help after long-term usage. I will report back after a few weeks. Soap is substantial and feels great.

I'm using this soap in conjunction with the same brand probiotic supplements for about one month now and my skin is clearer than it has been in YEARS. Regarding the soap regime: I just wash once in the morning and twice at night (the second pm wash with my clarasonic). I'm going to stick with this system, it is really working for me and I love that it's just so gentle at the same time super effective. Believe me this is no small thing for me to report, my acne was just incessant for years, cystic and constant. It was so demoralising and now it's gone. I have no fresh spots as I type this, and old marks are fading nicely. I tone and moisturise after each wash (Proactiv Solution Revitalizing Toner and Avalon Organics Lavender Ultimate Moisture Cream to be precise) I highly recommend the probiotic supplement too, I feel like what ever was causing and sustaining my acne now gets knocked out from the inside and the outside.
