The world to end in 2008?,

In a new slapstick keystone comedy type movie silent in
black and white an 1907 'genius' predicts the end of the world in 2008. No one believes him so he invents a Time Machine. It becomes a chase by the police when he steals a TV set and later invades the 2007 prime minister's office. He and the 1907 prime minister get stranded in 2007 when the police blow up the coffin like time machine box. Music is old fashioned violins and the acting is all pretty Charlie Chaplin like. I liked it... funny sci fi. |
