5.0 out of 5 stars Great for Hiking
A buddy who hiked Mt. Whitney with me loaned me a couple of these halfway up the mountain when I had some pretty bad heel blisters. They worked great for the rest of the hike and saved my heels.
I use them regularly now, BEFORE I start my hikes. The only drawback is that they tend to dissolve a little and can tear off the skin of a blister if you put them on AFTER...

3.0 out of 5 stars Works ok...
I got a horrible blister on my heel the day before starting a new job that I have to walk for 12 hours. I bought a box of these at the store and ordered this from Amazon. At first they worked great! Kept me from having any pain or problems. Very cushy and stayed put. They do come off when you shower though. Not good at staying on when getting wet. As my blister...

I bought these before a backpacking trip. Although I usually buy band aid brand blister blocks, these were all REI had at the time and I figured they'd work just fine. After mile 3 I started feeling a hot spot under the ball of my foot and stopped right away to take care of it before it turned into even more of a problem. I removed my shoes and socks, made sure my feet were dry, and applied the Dr Schools blister treatment to the spot on my foot, making sure it had no wrinkles and was laid flat on my foot.

Flash forward ten minutes later, back on the trail, and the pain was slowly worsening instead of subsiding. After 10 miles and setting up camp, I took a look at my foot and the blister treatment had molded to my blister, and would not come off without taking my skin with it. It was horrible. Not only did it not prevent my blister from getting worse (it went from just a hot spot, not even visible, to a silver dollar sized blister), but it stuck to the skin and made it INCREDIBLY painful to take off. This product is horrible.

Kept me from having any pain or problems. Very cushy and stayed put. They do come off when you shower though. Not good at staying on when getting wet. As my blister began to heel, the cushion became one with the skin and ripped off every time I removed the cushion. Once healing gets going I would recommend not using these. It was more painful when ripping skin off. I tried a sample of a similar product from Nexcare, but can't find it to buy! I would go with that brand over this one. It stayed one for 3 days without coming off even with daily showering.

Do not waste your money! Worst $5.00 I ever spent! I agree with the review below that says the pain gets worse. I can't tell I have anything on my blisters, much less medicated cushion.

Another use- This is the best things for getting rid of pimples. Just put on at night and the next morning the pimple is practically gone.

The number one product for blister prevention and post blister protection. I don't go hiking without a supply of these. Very effective and highly recommended.
