I live in the south so my feet are exposed to the elements on a regular basis. As a result, the skin on my feet gets very dry. In addition, my feet often ache so I frequently need them massaged in order to relieve some of the pain. Lucky for me, my husband doesn't mind rubbing my feet for me but we've tried a lot of lotions to find one that didn't smell too strong or evaporate away without adequately hydrating my skin. This cream is nice and thick and also happens to provide just the right amount of lubrication for a good foot massage. I try to put clean socks (not cotton socks - cotton will absorb the lotion) on after I've applied it so that my skin has the chance to absorb as much of it as possible. There is an overnight formula available too for those who may have more extensive issues. I don't detect much of any odor at all - let alone one that might be a little "girlie" so this cream should work for the guys just as well.

You will likely find that you need to wash your hands after application. This is a heavy lotion/cream and does feel a little greasy on your hands. Also, be very careful stepping onto wet surfaces (even the next day) if you've put this on your feet! It can be a little slippery in the shower.

We have ezcema and dry skin, especially dry heels. This stuff is great! Also has no perfume, so does not sting sensitive skin.

I had an issue with the skin on my feet cracking where the toes meet the foot, making for an obviously uncomfortable walking situation. I have used this lotion for one week and it has indeed softened my feet - I apply it 2 to 3 times a day and put socks on afterward. My criticism lies in the smell, not the functionality of the product. It reminds me of rotting fruit - kind of like that acrid fermented sweet smell . I find it to be hideous and am not quit sure why this is a "for her" product. It is possible I have purchased an old tube and that this is not the normal smell. I will update if I find this to be the case. In spite of this I continue to use it because it seems to work, and after I have put the on the socks and shoes and washed my hands, I don't smell it any more.

Update - I have gone through several tubes now and the smell is still the same. I am apparently unusual in the fact that I don't care for the smell as no one else has mentioned this, but that being said, my feet aren't cracking anymore, definitely worth the inconvenience of the smell. I did have to discontinue use when I became pregnant, the smell just did me in, but I will pick it up again after I give birth.

Your heals will be soft and smooth after only a couple of applications. It will keep your feet and heals soft with regular use. I put it on at night and let it work on my skin overnight. The difference is noticeable right away.

What ? women are the only ones with cracked heels ? I get them and this foot cream fixes the problem. I first started having cracked heels in my mid sixties. I guess it's just age catching up with me. Anyway my right heel started to get deep cracks that eventually split open and made walking painful. Dr. Scholl's cured the problem.

Here is what I found works best.

When you feet are severely dry and cracked try vegetable oil first if you can afford the time to let it penetrate, about 1/2 hour then apply Dr. Scholl's before putting on your socks. apply Dr. Scholl's to your feet at bedtime because your feet dry out most in bed.

As your feet heal apply Dr. Scholl's in the morning before you put on your socks and at bedtime. When your heels get deep cracks like mine did it takes months to get rid of them because they form thick calluses once they heal.

I have used this for years and it works, both for cracking from the cold of winter and drying from the heat of desert summers.

I have been using this cream for a few years now and I love it. I use it almost every night for about a week when I feel my feet need extra moisturizing to get them back to being smooth. But I do try to apply as much as I remember. I started using it after an outing to the beach left my feet rough and dry.
