5.0 out of 5 stars Warms up in a hurry
The heater in my truck died (heater coil leaked) and in AZ, I figured it was not practical to spend the $1000.00 to fix the thing. The seat warmed up quickly and did a pretty good job. I don't use the massage feature in the truck but did take it inside and used it in my reclining chair. Very relaxing and comfortable. That alone made it worth the money. I would...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not a true shiatsu
OK this is NOT a true shiatsu; it is a glorified vibrator perhaps better then some others. However it does work in the car and fits nicely in the seat but is not totally secure. It heats and vibrates most areas of the back and posterior upper legs.

1.0 out of 5 stars Uncomfortable and blew fuse after 1 1/2 years, June 22, 2011

It worked fine at first, but after about 6 months it got uncomfortable. You could feel the massage modules poking at your under thighs because the padding is made of tiny foam balls, instead of cushion. These foam balls are only effective at first, but after a while they lose their "cushiness". Instead, I recommend this: RoadPro 12-Volt Heated Massaging Back Seat Cushion, by DAS RoadPro for $29.95. I've had this one for only about a week, but I can tell it's much better quality, in terms of the cushion material. Much more comfortable and you can't feel the massage modules poking at you. It uses foam cushion padding instead of the tiny foam balls.

The other problem was that at the 1 1/2 year mark, it blew my radio/cig lighter fuse repeatedly. I kept trying and it kept blowing new fuses I put in. I tried it on another car it it did the same, so it wasn't the car but the seat that was the problem.

1.0 out of 5 stars Amazon please drop Furniture Creations from your website, March 23, 2010

Customer service at Furniture Creations is horrible. I ordered the reference item from Amazon on 03/16/10 which was being sold through Furniture Creations with a schedule delivery date between 03/23 to 03/25. This was because I paid for the 5-7 days delivery timeframe. I saw that Shipping instructions were given to UPS on 03/18/10 and the item was picked up by UPS on 03/19/10, however after tracking the item via UPS I saw that the delivery date was re-scheduled for 03/29/10. This date would not work for me because I needed to use the item on 03/27/10 for a long distance trip. I contacted Amazon, who in turn told me that I have to contact the seller. The seller was very rude and did not want to help with the matter, they told me I needed to contact their warehouse because that's where the item is coming from. They also indicated that the warehouse did not have a telephone number for me to call, so I would have to email them. I also let them know that UPS told me that initially they receive information that the item had to be picked up in Pennyslavania but then the shipper changed the location to California instead, that's the reason for the extensive delay. The seller (Jeff Johnson - general manager) was very rude and not sympatetic with the whole issue. I explained to him that UPS states that they can instruct them to return the item back and in the meantime he can send me another one with one day shipping. He refused to do so, and says that I can return the item back to them when I receive it but they will not reimburse the shipping charges. I eventually had amazon send me a similar item which was coming directly from their warehouse and instructed them that I no longer want the other item. I let them know that their reputation will drop if they continue to have sellers like this one use their marketplace.
