They call these "original" exercise sandals but they are not at all like the REAL original ones I've worn for years. I'm hoping they'll get better, but currently the leather is so stiff I cannot wear them without socks and I can only wear them for a short time. I clomp around the house so loudly I can be heard miles away. And the arches are not as high as before, so I'm rather disappointed. For years I've worn them around the house as slippers for someone who needs arch support. My old pair is so worn that the sole is more of a rocker-panel and the leather is distressed to the point of disintegration, so I can no longer wear them. So I hope that eventually these will break in enough to ease my disappointment and have me again happily clip-clopping around the house...
