When my son started Kindergarten, he noticed other children carrying umbrellas to school and wanted one of his own. He is a huge fan of the Cat in The Hat books and when he saw this, he had to have it. He uses it every single time it rains. I love how easy it is to use, and no metal edges to pinch your fingers on. It is a very durable umbrella that holds up well to a 6-year old boy. When he outgrows it, we can pass it down to his baby sister. Great product!.

We've only had it for a month or so, but my 3.5 year old son loves it! He's a big fan of the Cat in the Hat books and the PBS TV show, so he has a blast playing with it. It's also handy on rainy days since he can carry his own umbrella to pre-school and stay dry. Not sure how durable it will be over the long run, so it appears to be well made (as far as an umbrella can be).
