Inspired by the film, the video game tells the story of Conrad, a young boy tricked by his neighbor, Mr. Quinn, into opening the Cat's big red box of Seussian magic, allowing it to escape into the real world. The Cat must help Conrad and his sister, Sally, return the Seussian magic to the box and retrieve all three pieces of the "Crab Lock" in order to lock the box for good. Players will also get the unique chance to explore a world beyond the film, as they navigate through rooms of the house that are not seen in the movie.

We bought Cat In The Hat for C-mas and it is great!! We love the graphics and the challenges. Everyone that comes over gets addicted to it and can't stop playing it. Getting to the different levels is way fun!! Adults and kids alike will like this one!!

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat (Video Game)
I'm 7 years old and this is a real cool game. It is frustrating when you die, but you only have to go back to the last checkpoint or the last tunnel. The bonus worlds are fun and if you get hurt during a bonus world you do not have any health missing. It is not all like the movie because the fish helps you and thing one and thing two stole the bonus world keys. You have to think about how to get past some crates of goo. You have to fight 3 bosses in this game which are Quinn's big machine (powered by the crablock and needed to the cat to close the main crate full of goo). This game is a great game and I fully reccomend it to you.

This game is just right for a kid or a video game-challenged adult like me! It is not hard to navigate and the Cat doesn't "fly" across the screen so you can't see where you are going, but is still entertaining enough to keep your attention.
