These blocks are fantastic!,
By Erin (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dr. Seuss One Fish Stacking Blocks (Baby Product)
We received these blocks as a gift when our daughter was born, and they are great! They are very nice quality and oh so cute. Who doesn't love Dr. Seuss? When my daughter was big enough to sit up in her Bumbo seat, I would stack the blocks up in front of her and read her the words as I stacked. Now that she is almost 6 months old, she loves to play with them herself, pick them up, turn them around, and chew on them. She hates when I try to stack them and will always knock down my towers ;) She is still too young to really "get it" but she is already having lots of fun with them, so I'm sure she will like them even more when she is a bit older. This was one of our favorite gifts that we received.

cute for a decoration only,

This review is from: Dr. Seuss One Fish Stacking Blocks (Baby Product)
I got these as a decoration for my friend's baby shower, but also for her to give to her baby to play with. They are super cute and worked great for a decoration! Unfortunately, they are much too flimsy to really withstand actual play. My 14-month old could easily crush these.

Cute but cardboard,
This review is from: Dr. Seuss One Fish Stacking Blocks (Baby Product)
My son is 16 months old and is just now getting the concept of blocks. He loves the Dr. Seuss books so seeing the characters on the books only adds to the fun and educational value. My only complaint with these is that the blocks are extremely light weight and cardboard. As a result the imgages are getting scuffed and edges of the blocks are starting to show the cardboard. To be fair my son is rough with the blocks and puts them in his mouth which softens the cardboard so these won't last long. On the flip side because these blocks are cardboard they are safer to play with. If they fall on him or he wacks himself in the face they don't hurt has bad as the magic school bus purely wooden set of blocks that I also have (the magic school bus set was cheaper and came with more blocks to stack but because it's wood it has sharp edges, is heavy and can easily hurt my son when he's playing with them). For the price I would have expected more of a quality product but my son loves them.
