This video was more of a slide show than a cartoon. Easily enjoyed by kids who can recite the words along with the movie.

This is not the annimated version seen on television.

I work at a child care center and we have a video of Green Eggs and Ham that is wonderful. I thought I was getting a copy of that for my home, but when I popped this video into my VCR I was very disappointed. The voices sound terrible and there is no animation. There are little cut-outs from the book floating across the screen. Don't waste your money on this one!!

Absolutely terrible. There is no animations. The characters are portrayed almost as book pages on film. The voice is a monotone with no inflections or animation. Overall a very poor value and not to be confused with any optimal Dr. Seuss videos. BUYER BEWARE.

This video (UK format) is not a cartoon in the true sense. And they have adverts in the middle about other Random House Seuss books which makes the kids think that the video has actually finished.

Unhappy. That's how I feel about this video. I read to my children when they couldn't read. I didn't need a video to do it for me. I thought I was getting the cartoon that I've enjoyed watching for many years. I'll certainly learn to read all reviews of videos before I buy from now on.

Please, please, don't listen to what those other reviews say. This is original Seuss. Cartoons don't give this good of original Seuss. This dynamic duo of 2 of Dr. Seuss's books is great. First, Green Eggs and Ham, where a grouchy guy is forced to green eggs and ham. (You can make them, too: scrambled eggs with green food coloring.) Then, still being that star of a movie star, this favorite feline comes back with his oringinal story of- THE CAT IN THE HAT! This is a very good video and I think you should buy Green Eggs and Ham and The Cat in the Hat.

This video of Dr. Seuss' classic is great! This is my all-time favorite Seuss book, and have used the book in my class every year. This was the first year I was able to use the video, and the kids loved it! I was glad I finally got a hold of it!
