Dr. Seuss - One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish

My two year old daughter loves this tape referring to it as "Dr. Seuss" and now I'm looking for more Dr. Seuss videos. It's a bit slow-moving which is a refreshing change (particularly for the parent) when compared to singing and dancing videos. 'One Fish' is a quiet background to my morning coffee and paper. Dr. Seuss's words are terrific as usual, and I recommend this video as a good balance between what your child will enjoy and what won't drive you nuts over and over and over.....

The video is a very good one, see my previous review. I just had to write again this I hope someone at Amazon reads. We need a better Amazon system to acess Spanish language videos. I had to know the title to get to this one. Please Amazon, make it easier!

MY DAUGHTER IS LEARNING SPANISH AND THIS VIDEO IS A FUN WAY TO REINFORCE HER LEARNING. SHE ALREADY LOVES DR. SEUSS IN ENGLISH SO THIS IS A NATURAL TRANSITION. ILLUSTRATION USAGE IS MUY BUENO. I LIKE WATCHING TOO!

This is not an animated video. It is the book "alive". Some people hate the primitiveness of this type of format, but little ones don't need high-tech animation or special effects. I must admit that it took me some time to get used to it, though. I like it because I can read the book to my son at bedtime or pop in the video while he eats lunch, and it it the SAME. It is consistent with the original book. This is important because it helps children learn patterns and cause-and-effect. Sometimes if you have a book-inspired video, the video alters the original story. This does not. My son loves it.

One Fish Two Fish has got to be one of the earliest Begginer Books ever. Now Dr. Seuss's creation comes to life on this delightful video. Hey, I didn't even know I knew that word! Dr. Seuss's whimsical tale of the wonders of life is joined by the books Oh, The Thinks You Can Think, what you could call a suggestion book, and The Foot Book, a book about opposites. This trio makes this video come to life. Buy it!

This video was not animated like the classic Chuck Jones features such as "The Cat In The Hat" and "The Grinch". My daughter was rather disappointed to see the camera scanning over pages of the books she already owns along with paper cutouts of the characters floating around as a cheap replacement for animation. We give this video a thumbs down.

The title says it all. She doesn't want it to end. My twins both love this video, even though it has very simple animation. The tape isn't cluttered up with ads like some of the Sesame videos, so it gets to the action right away. One fish two fish is a classic - "Did you ever fly a kite in bed? Did you ever walk with ten cats on your head? ... If you never did you should. These things are fun and fun is good" Wow... deep :) The Things You Can Think is equally thought provoking. I always wondered why most things go to the right. The Foot Book finishes the tape in a less intellectual way, but nonetheless keeps them wanting for more.

I have used this video in beginning spanish classes, it is perfect!!

I still have not received this product after more than a month. If I do get it, then I might change the rating. It's still annoying to not receive the product and still be charged for it.
