5.0 out of 5 stars Best I've Found..., February 22, 2005
This review is from: Dr. Smith's Diaper Ointment, 3 Ounce Tube (Health and Beauty)
I received a sample of this product from my pediatrician after my daughter had such a terrible diaper rash. She had been on antibiotics and ended up chapped and sore. Nothing I had found worked to clear up the rash. I went to the doctor concerned that she might have had a yeast infection; luckily she didn't. My pediatrician offered me a sample of Dr. Smith's and a coupon. He warned me that it might be hard to find the product and it was more expensive than most. Well I ended up using the small sample with immediate positive results and ordered more from Dr. Smith's website. I'm thrilled to see that Dr. Smith's is available through more outlets. It is wonderful. My kids don't get diaper rash anymore!

You name it, we tried it. Our daughters butts were plastered with desitin, A+E, Boudreauxs, utter butter and countless other product out there. My sister-in-law hooked us up with this product. Frankly I am surprised it is not used as the formulary barrier cream of choice in hospitals. Nothing compares to this stuff.

5.0 out of 5 stars 5 for the product... 3 for the price..., September 14, 2005
This review is from: Dr. Smith's Diaper Ointment, 3 Ounce Tube (Health and Beauty)
My son does not handle orange juice well and is always stealing his cousins cuppie of O.J. and ends up with this horrible diaper rash. This cream was recommended by our pediatrician and REALLY works well... I just wish it was not so expensive but when it's for my baby boys health and well being, like most parents, I will pay whatever the price to make him feel better. Unfortuneately, most manufacturers know this.

This review is from: Dr. Smith's Diaper Ointment, 3 Ounce Tube (Health and Beauty)
I used Boudreaux's Butt Paste for my first child (and still use it myself for chapped lips and stuff; sounds gross but it works), but it didn't work for my second. My pediatrician recommended Dr. Smith's and I don't think I'll use anything else ever again. He has extremely sensitive skin and cannot tolerate even the slightest diaper rash (typical male) and Dr. Smith's clears even moderate rashes up overnight. Our grocery store used to carry it, but has recently stopped. I guess the price did it. Glad to see I can order it through amazon.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Good Stuff, March 21, 2005

We normally use Desitin but if one of our sons has a diaper rash, we reach for Dr. Smith's. We call it "The Good Stuff" because it quickly cures rashes that other products can't cure.
