About the Author

As a youngster, David Laughridge, like may boys his age, liked playing with a lionel train. As time has passed, he has found more and more satisfaction in servicing old toy trains. Also, the parts that go into the train repairs fascinated him.

David also was emplyed by Lionel in the product development depart and transferred to Mattell after Lioonel was purchsed by General Mills.
