This classic Hammer film from 1958 originally titled Horror of Dracula for the American audiences
was and still is a Hammer classic now released on Blu-ray as DRACULA
Brilliantly written by Jimmy sangster and Brilliantly Directed by Terence Fisher
Incredible performance by Christopher Lee as the new Dracula, before it was Bela Lugosi
Christopher Lee definitely gives a scary/frightening performance as Dracula, No Doubt about it
even scenes where Chris has no Dialogue, he acts his performance beautifully
and also incredible performance by Peter cushing as Van helsing and other Actors from the film
Hammer's Dracula is definitely at the top of the list as Hammer's best Dracula film

first released on DVD by warner bros U.S. and U.K. back in 2005 roughly
both U.S./U.K. DVD release's were barebones for sure, Just a Theatrical trailer for it

but now LIONSGATE U.K. have gained the rights to this classic film for a blu-ray release
and LIONSGATE U.K. have also added the UNRATED CUT with few extra scenes inserted back in
back in 1958 these extra scenes were considered to Violent for U.K. audiences
so the scenes were edited out
the only version that had the UNRATED Version was the Japanese dvd release
well LIONSGATE have now got the UNRATED version + the Theatrical version on blu-ray now
this new blu-ray release by LIONSGATE U.K. is a 3 Disc set which has 2 DVD Discs with it
they added 2 DVD'S for fans who don't have Blu-ray players i guess.
LIONSGATE U.K.

Outstanding collection of supporting videos and, of course, the Blu-Ray of "Dracula" restored is excellent. Especially interesting among the bonus features is "The Demon Lover" commentary by Christopher Frayling. Frayling's analysis of the film story and underlying "Dracula" novel is the best, most penetrating I have ever seen.

I love this movie , but I hate that I could not get it to play on my PS3 . I believe this to be a region B blu ray only .
