Editorial Reviews

This is an Audio Book Dramatization on CD of ‘Dracula’s Guest’ and it is the only other time Bram Stoker published a story featuring his legendary and iconic Count Dracula. However atmospheric and eerie the story itself may be, it is almost rivaled by the mystery surrounding the publication of the story itself.

The story in which Count Dracula’s character is once more resurrected to the public’s imagination, was published 2 years after Bram Stoker’s own death.
It is believed that this story was in fact to be the beginning to, or an introduction to, ‘Dracula’ the novel. On publication, Stoker's widow Florence wrote, "…, I have added an hitherto unpublished episode from Dracula. It was originally excised owing to the length of the book, and may prove of interest to the many readers of what is considered my husband's most remarkable work."

It is believed by some scholars that Bram Stoker reworked what was originally the beginning of his novel Dracula into Dracula’s Guest, a story which stands by itself as another masterpiece.

Dracula’s Guest was published in 1914, 17 years after Bram Stoker’s original Dracula story. This production is a true endeavor to get into the atmosphere of the tale complete with eerie sound-scape backdrops. All artwork photography on the CD Booklet and case were taken within the general location of where the story is set.
