I'm new to quilting, but am already growing restless with just creating quilts with established block patterns. I read about this book in one of the quilting magazines I get (it was mentioned in an article) and while it doesn't seem to be available as a "new" book directly from Amazon, I did find several used book sellars that had copies. I haven't been able to clear my head of all the ideas that I have now! Don't let the title intimadate you! There is no complicated math involved in altering block designs to make them "you". Some graph paper and a ruler and your imagination and you're off and running. You'll be amazed at how different you can make an old block design look with just moving a few lines. Be adventurous! Get this book and have some fun!

I was trying to create a five-pointed star and this had great instructions. Lots of other good design techniques, too.

This is a very nice book for quilters who wish to
begin drafting or learn more if they already have done some
drafting. I love it and think the price was right!
