More About the Author

mot (n.m.) : 1 - unité signifiante. 2 - auteur insignifiant (stephanemot.com)

mot (noun, masc.) : French for "word" (from "muttum" - late Latin for "word", "sound"). 1 - significant unit. 2 - insignificant author.

Excuse my (being) French.

My name means "word" and I need to write as much as I need to eat. It simply has to go out of my system, and that's the reason why I keep spilling my lousy 'blogules' over the web.

Beyond that pervasive "junk writing", I do venture into more literary territories - generally short stories I label "dragedies" as a tribute to "dragees", sweets you offer to somehow exorcise festive events... but with a twist : a dragedy basically and nonsensically announces death. Therefore, it can be sweet and sour, sad and funny : my definition of humor is the ability to accept death in general and one's weaknesses in particular, in order to make life in general more acceptable, and one's existence in particular more bearable to others.

"La Ligue des Oublies" is yet another unidentified object : "The League of the Forgotten / The Other History of Football" tells the tales of unlucky soccer players, personalities or events - they didn't even have the chance to exist.
