In these episodes of the popular action-adventure series, Krillin, Piccolo, Vegeta, and Gohan square off against the sniggering Frieza, one of the most grating villains in all anime. As the individual titles suggest, Frieza increases his power by metamorphosing, growing spikier before assuming his familiar, smooth, white-and-purple form. Piccolo fused with Nail to tackle the villain, but he still isn't strong or fast enough to overcome him, despite assistance from the valiant young Gohan. Vegeta plans to play both ends against the middle: by tricking Krillin and Dende into transforming him into a Super-Saiyan, he hopes to gain the power to defeat Frieza, then destroy everyone else. Will he succeed? Typically, there are plenty of screams, explosions, and flying fists in Dragon Ball Z shows, but the characters end up almost exactly where they began 60 minutes earlier. Unrated: suitable for ages 8 and up; cartoon violence and very minor profanity. --Charles Solomon

Product Description

Episode 67 - Frieza's Second Transformation
The united powers of Nail and Piccolo continue to struggle against the almighty Frieza. For a brief moment it seems the Namekian duo could be victorious, but Frieza soon sets everyone straight with a second transformation! With new speed and strength, Frieza gives Piccolo a ruthless beating. Can Gohan and Krillin come to Piccolo's aid? And what clever plan is Vegeta devising?

Episode 68 - Another Transformation?
Desperate to help Piccolo, the enraged Gohan unleashes an attack that nearly topples Frieza. Inspired by Gohan's powerful display, Vegeta reveals his daring plan: he will let Krillin beat him to near death, and force Dende to heal him, as a Saiyan's power increases after healing from a serious injury. Could this tactic finally transform Vegeta into a legendary Super Saiyan? Meanwhile, it seems Frieza has a plan of his own: his final transformation!

Episode 69 - Dende's Demise
Having reached his ultimate form, the evil Frieza begins a merciless assault. To start, he takes out the only one who cannot be healed by Dende -- Dende himself! As Frieza's onslaught continues, it becomes clear that Piccolo, Krillin, and Gohan don't stand a chance. Suprisingly, the fully healed Vegeta comes to the rescue, wanting to fight Frieza single-handedly! Are Vegeta's claims true? Is he really a Super Saiyan?

4.0 out of 5 stars Piccolo's Revenge Continue, July 5, 2001
By A Customer
DragonballZ Frieza Revealed is a great DVD to own if you want to collect all of Dragonballz DVD's also if you like Piccolo. It starts of where the battle with Piccolo and Frieza left off in Transformation. Also Frieza transforms into his utlimate form and battles Vegeta the Prince of all Saiyans. Try to Collect the all of the DBZ DVD's because they include the orginal Japanese version.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Many Forms of Frieza, December 10, 2001

This DVD is great, Frieza goes from his second form to his final form throughout these 3 episodes. There's lots of action and great music. Although the voice acting isn't that great during this period, the Japanese version makes up for it. I really wish Funimation would put some new extras on these DVDs. My ultimate goal is to get all of the episodes on DVD and I'm getting tired of the same old commercials as extras. It would be nice if they added character profiles or interviews with the voice actors or something.

Its cool but with all the voice changing and censoring it gets kinda lame.I wish they left it the sama as in japan. But you no america no violence. They think we might go on a shooting rampage. On the mexican channel they get to keep everything in.Why cant we.
