4.0 out of 5 stars Ironmans Official Review, November 20, 2002
This review is from: Dragon Ball Z: Legendary Super Warrior (Game Cartridge)
This is a game that revolves entirly around the story of Dragon Ball Z, from Vegeta to MAjin Buu this game attempts to cover it all in an RPG style. THere is a change though, the battles are conducted in the card game manner that is a growing rage in many places. So in this style the cards are as such, attack, support, defense, and beam (there are probably more). You start the game off as Gohan and latter switch between numerouse allies that are also in the series. You are also given the option for battles as well as multiplayer mode with the link to link cable.

OVerall this is a decent game that is in the same style as Pokemon Trading Card Game. So with that said there is not much more to say.

Graphics: 2 out of 5:
For late Gameboy color more should of been done graphic wise.

SOund: 3 out of 5:
There is very little music but when there is it is about average.

Control: 5 out of 5:
YOur guy moves when you command him to and the ability to go through cards is simple enough.

Fun Factor: 4 out of 5:
This is not for everyone however if you are a die hard fan of the series and or into card games such as Pokemon or magic the Gathering than pick this up.

4.0 out of 5 stars Dont hate on a great game, November 17, 2002
This review is from: Dragon Ball Z: Legendary Super Warrior (Game Cartridge)
Well Well Well, they continued to release dragonball games in america. Its about time.I love dragonball, but I got the shaft on the playstation games being so rare and all.Today I bought this game DBZ legendary Super warriors.I went and dug out my gameboy color from the deepest reaches of my closet, but Ill tell you,I was not let down.I dont think every game needs great graphics. However they are good for a game boy color game. The game had great gameplay which will keep you playin and a difficulty level that will ... you off so much that youll never quit till ya win.I give this an 8-10.Its worth $29.99,If your a true dragonball fan and all.Oh and one thing,if you dont know dragonball, the fun level lacks a ton.Dont bother.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'll give ya a learn'n why it's on Game Boy Color..., October 19, 2002
This review is from: Dragon Ball Z: Legendary Super Warrior (Game Cartridge)
Hello Video Gamers! Chan Tanaka here, filling in the gaps on the continuous questions on the new DBZ game coming out for the forgotten Game Boy Color. First off, the game is an RPG. And secondly, the game is simply being re-released. This particular Dragonball game came out quite some time ago in Japan. ... The reason why it's being re-released instead of revamped for the GBA is probably because people tend to be lazy. This game was very popular in Japan, so you can bet your britches it'll be a smash here in the US. DBZ is warping kids' minds today like Pokemon did yesterday. With this, I conclude my lil speech. ...

You start off as Gohan battle Piccolo to Saiyan Saga to Frieza saga to Cell saga to Buu saga. After you beat Nappa you get Goku.
(Hint: press start at the end after you beat Kid Buu in the picture with Goku, Chi-chi, Gohan, and Goten to get new charecters)

drgonballz legendary super warriors is the best dbz game for gbc it features over 25 of your favorite dbz warriors and you can watch your warrior perform moves like masenko, superkamehamaha, you could watch gohan turn into a super sayian and a big ape.you can also win warriors like vegeta, frieza, and majin buu.the boss of each sega is extremely hard.for example, when you fight frieza he would use powerful moves like the deathbeam.this game is worth the money.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Game, June 19, 2003
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Dragon Ball Z: Legendary Super Warrior (Game Cartridge)
Legendary super warriors is really addicting.Dbz fans would only like it though. It runs through the whole storyline, but it misses alot of things. Garlic jr. and King Cold are never seen. This makes the game very quick for experienced gamers. When you beat the game, you get to keep playing and unlocking characters. Its more fun after the game is beaten.

5.0 out of 5 stars This game tight!, June 16, 2003

This review is from: Dragon Ball Z: Legendary Super Warrior (Game Cartridge)
You start as Gohan and train under Piccolo, you then built your deck with 20 cards. Then you fight Piccolo, Nappa, Vegeta, the Ginyu Force, Frieza, the androids, Cell, and Majin Buu. Over all you fight 32 battles (including Future Trunks time line). Level all 27 charecters to 5 and collect all 125 cards and get a surprise! I have to put Guldo, no.19, no.20, and Cell Jr. I already have all 125 cards...Will you get all 125 cards and all charecters in Level 5?

4.0 out of 5 stars dbz game, November 18, 2002

This review is from: Dragon Ball Z: Legendary Super Warrior (Game Cartridge)
I recived this game about three or four days ago and so far it is pretty good. You start as Gohan right after Raddiz is killed and Goku is sent to the after life, you learn how to fight by Piccolo and then you fight him. From that point it follows the series. The only real faul in this game is that it is too true to the series and it is usually just a bunch of talking, fighting a bad guy, then you might get a chance to move around but that happens rarely. Also, the game gets a little hard when you go against Freiza. Even though you're Super Sayian, he still is very strong. I've lost to him about eight times.
