This an overall avarage tape. But the sound quality is poor and there isn't much music in this tape.In the fighting scenes, cell and vegeta fight mostly phsically.I think it's boring because all vegeta does is kick cell's butt.

The Android, and Cell sagas are a must see for all Dragonball fans. Even if your new to DBZ the Cell saga is th best saga in my opinion. In these episodes it's still a full on battle as the Z-Warriors battle it out against their toughest opponent yet, Cell. Now that Cell has reached his 'perfect' form he is just too strong for the Z-Warriors. But Gohan has a new form of Super Saiyan instore for Cell.Definatley get this video or DVD when it comes out!

5.0 out of 5 stars You can't resist, November 21, 2001
By
"madnessmark" (Maple Grove, MN) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dragon Ball Z - Perfect Cell - Temptation (UNCUT) [VHS] (VHS Tape)
After Trunks and Vegita have ascended beyond a Super Sayain, it's time to show Cell just what they're made of.

Content: A-
Animation: A-
Music: B+ (dub)
English Version: B+
Fight Scenes: B+

Things start looking up. Vegita gives it to Cell HARD! Meanwhile, Krillin must make the desicion to the deactivate 18, his second love. For Vegita and Trunks, Cell is worthless now. But Cell knows how to tamper with Vegita's physce. He tries to convince Vegita to let him absorb 18 so he can become perfect. To everyone else, the obvious answer would be no. But Vegita is a warrior. And if he destroys Cell without any retaliation, he will have wasted his powers. The fight scenes on this tape are okay. It's more of one of those I'm-stronger-than-you-so-I'm-going-kick-you-all-over-the-place fight scenes. Overall, a good tape that should please any fan of DBZ.

4.0 out of 5 stars DRAGON POWER!, October 28, 2001
A Kid's Review
I have been a fan of DBZ since it premeried over here in the UK. I personally think it is a legend that was destroyed by the damned american censors and translators. The first 2 sagas (saiyans and namek/ginyu/frieza) were destroyed by "word plays" and censoring. However the cell saga has kept SOME of the feeling from the original.

How do i know? i read the uncut manga. Translated by fans and posted online. i loved reading every single page. Funianimation (the people who release dragonball z) are destroying the Dragonball Legend. Why censor it? there is nothing that scarred my mind. When i watch the original i see an excellent story of friendship, hate, fear, and finally hope. Funi turned in to into plain action with SOME speech.

Kids would learn a lot more from watching the tragic death of Gokus friends, teaching them how life is fragile and presious. rather than him "going into the next dimension"!

anyways. if this on TV uncut and decently translated that WOULD BE HEAVEN!!! but until then i'll download uncut subtitled episodes from the net...

5.0 out of 5 stars Stylized fighting, and awesome music..., September 14, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Dragon Ball Z - Perfect Cell - Temptation (UNCUT) [VHS] (VHS Tape)
It starts out (as you may know) where "Hunt for 18" left off. Cell gets punched in the stomach and then gets his butt kicked by Vegeta. Trunks doesn't have much of a say in this movie, he just watches the fight. With Vegeta's awesome abilities he's tossing Cell around like a rag doll, and like Piccolo said in the Android Saga, Vegeta is invincible when it comes to strategy. But Vegeta is a whimp when it comes to temptation, he never can resist, but I can't be mad at that, because his race (which is Saiyan) has a contstant thurst for stronger opponents I guess. Please view this movie if you're looking for good DBZ entertainment.

5.0 out of 5 stars "A MUST-SEE", April 29, 2001
By A Customer
The episodes are great, Vegeta is so strong that Cell can't even touch him! Cell tries and tries, but doesn't succeed. Cell tries to absorb Vegeta two times, but it does no good. In one part, Cell blasts a fish because he thinks it's Vegeta. They even fight underwater and Krillin finds Android 18. But the bad part is, so does Cell. Here we go again Vegeta trying to be better than Goku. I think he should give up, he always makes a fool of himself. He might as well face it, Goku is and always will be stronger than him. Buy it!
