About the Author

Renowned worldwide for his playful, innovative storytelling and humorous, distinctive art style, Akira Toriyama burst onto the manga scene in 1980 with the wildly popular Dr. Slump. His hit series Dragon Ball (published in the U.S. as Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z) ran from 1984 to 1995 in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. He is also known for his design work on video games such as Dragon Quest, Chrono Trigger, Tobal No. 1 and, most recently, Blue Dragon. His recent manga works include COWA!, Kajika, Sand Land, Neko Majin, and a children's book, Toccio the Angel. He lives with his family in Japan.

DRAGONBALL Z VOL. 7: GOHAN, BULMA AND KURIRIN FIND THEMSLEVES IN A RACE FOR THE DRAGONBALLS. THE EVIL SAIYAN PRINCE VEGETA ALSO HAS HIS SIGHTS SET ON THE MAGIC ORBS. PLANET NAMEK IS IN TROUBLE AS FREEZA AND ZARBON TAKE OVER. BUT DONT WORRY NAMEK! GOKU IS ON HIS WAY. WATCH VEGETA ANIHILATE ZARBON IN A ACTION PACKED BATTLE. WATCH THE UNLIKELY ALLIANCE OF VEGETA, KURIRIN, AND GOHAN TAKE ON THE GINYU FORCE IN A STRUGGLE FOR SURVIVAL. WELL I WONT SPOIL YOU ANYMORE SO PICK UP DRAGONBALL Z VOL. 7

This book mainly focuses around gohan, Kururin, and Vegeta's search for the namekian dragonballs. As Vegeta escapes from Freezas clutches, he manages to steal all of his dragonballs. When Zarbon goes after him, Vegeta overwhelms zarbon and makes him pay for his last defeat. Later on, Gohan and kururin have to ally themselves with their former enemy Vegeta, in order to conquer a much more powerful enemy: The ginyu force. They battle the extremely powerful enemy, strating with the short and weak "Gurd" (aka Guldo). The dub may show an uneventful and quick death of this enemy, but the manga will reveal a much more surprising (not to mention greusome and funny) ending. When Vegeta fights Reacoome, he discovers he's no match, and this book ends with a kind of hopeless ending. I like this chapter of DBZ alot, and I would give it a 4, but because of one certain scene I'm sure you will all enjoy, I can't help but give it a 5.

In this episode the Great Elder of Namek grants Kuririn the One-Star Dragon Ball and the incredible power that goes with it. Meanwhile, Vegeta breaks free of Freeza's spaceship and races across the planet in search of the same Dragon Ball, the one that will make him immortal. When Vegeta intercepts the Earthlings, Zarbon attacks. Whoever wins will kill Kuririn and Bulma next. It's a fight to the finish.
