This review is from: Dragon Ball Z, Vol. 9 (VIZBIG Edition) (Paperback)
This is the final edition in the VizBig titles for the Dragonball manga. This is a must have for any DBZ fans who want to complete their manga collection at an affordable price. Unfortunately though the copy I received from Amazon was faulty and had pages 161-192 replaced with the previous pages of 130-161 thus getting these pages twice and then after getting to page 161 again it then continues on with page 193 thus missing pages 161-192. This is just a warning for anyone who's buying these right now because I don't know if it's just my copy or if they had a bad run of stock.Cheers

A great must-have volume to end the series. This great VizBig recreation features the final 2 explosive volumes of Dragonball Z.Don't miss this volume in which Gotenks faces off with Boo and Goku and Vegeta then too get their turn resulting in 2 epic battles. This is a must for any fan of Dragonball Z small or big.People will enjoy this awesome book.I think you should get this book. The only downside of this book is that the book only contains 2 volumes, however 25 an 26 are the biggest volumes in Dragonball Z. This book is great action book.Anyone who likes manga owes this to themselves.

This is the exciting closer to the whole dragonball series, so naturally the story by Toriyama is wonderful. As for the vizbig editions themselves they're a great deal compared to the original graphic novel releases: from two to four volumes versus one at one price. If you're a fan of the show wanting to read the books, the translation can seem awkward in a few places compared to what anime fans are used to hearing. All in all, it's a great buy if you're interested in DBZ.

I'm a huge Dragonball fan for more than 20 years. When I found this book, VIZBIG Edition, it seemed to be a good idea to bind 3 books in one book. The translation to English was reasonable, also expression of those big sound effects on the background was well done without damaging the original drawings. Although I found that there are some modified scenes, overall it was almost uncut throughout the book.

The end of the Ginyu force!,
By Bilbo Baggins "mighty hobbit" (Land of Dwarves and Hobbits) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dragon Ball Z, Vol. 9 (Paperback)
The last of the Ginyu force bite the dust in this book. For those not in the know the Ginyu force are super strong aliens that Freeza hired after his henchmen got killed in book number 7. Vegeta kills Jheese and Captain Ginyu (who has the ability to switch bodies) gets trapped in the body of a frog. Quite weird.
