It will hold really large spheres, very heavy brass, not at all flimsy.

I had ordered a LARGE 150mm crystal ball and have been looking for a gold stand, but I've wanted it to be more of a brass color so it looks older.

Running in the witchy circles, I've heard of AzureGreen... Basically your one stop shop for all things witchy needed.

I had ordered a LARGE 150mm crystal ball and have been looking for a gold stand, but I've wanted it to be more of a brass color so it looks older. I found this stand at a great price through Amazon, and decided to give it a go. (I'm not sure why asian dragons have become the standard in crystal ball stands, so I'd like someone to work on that).

The color portrays this as a bright yellow gold... It's not. It is a BRASS stand. It's brassy gold, looks a little aged, and is not completely perfect in construction... And that is what I was hoping for! I wanted something that looked like it had been around for ages, and was perfectly imperfect, and would allow the crystal ball to stand out, and that it does.

I have a 6" (think 150 size) ball on it and I have no concern that this stand couldn't keep it stable. My ball sinks an inch or so through the bottom part. I like the stands simplicity where it's not distracting or taking away from the ball, and it makes it pop. Clean and eclectic.

would recommend this one over the gold plate as brass will last longer, it's a little rough around the edges and i would not use it for the 8" ball but it fits the 6" ball perfectly and is the perfect mate for it!!!!

This was perfect for what we needed. We were looking for a stand for an ostrich egg.

I bought these for some of my 4" plus spheres, and they are very sturdy and look wonderful holding up these large spheres. Make sure the sphere you buy this for is 4" plus as it will swallow a smaller sphere.

During my years of teaching Science to eager young minds, I acquired a fossilized dinosaur egg that is about the size of a cantaloupe. I was finally able to find this stand; it is perfect! It is strong enough to bear the weight, and the dragon motif ties in with the dinosaur egg.

heavy piece and can take a really large ball weight, but arrives with speckles of rust on the underside and a few dings in the ring. Those are hidden by a ball sitting on top. Item was padded so it didn't happen in transit.
