4.0 out of 5 stars You think Neo was fast? Check out Jackie?
When Jackie Chan's master is slain, he journies to avenge him. Beating the living daylights out of everyone he meets, at one point he befriends a gang to avenge his master's death. The climax occurs with one of the better fight scenes I have seen in a kung-fu movie--Jackie uses a "sticky-hands" style and the battles go on forever. Jackie, of course, is the...

1.0 out of 5 stars What the Heck is this? Not the Jackie Chan I Know!
the only reason you should get this is if you want every chan movie there is. Otherwise dont get it! Dragon fist is fake and boring and the only action is at the end which takes forever. Shaolin Wooden Men is also strange. When i first pushed play it showed a girl getting kidnapped. It turns out if you fast-foward to the very end of the tape you will see the beginning...

This review is from: Dragon Fist / Shaolin Wooden Men [VHS] (VHS Tape)
When Jackie Chan's master is slain, he journies to avenge him. Beating the living daylights out of everyone he meets, at one point he befriends a gang to avenge his master's death. The climax occurs with one of the better fight scenes I have seen in a kung-fu movie--Jackie uses a "sticky-hands" style and the battles go on forever. Jackie, of course, is the victor. You have got to check out Dragon Fist--watch out for the "Asian-Beavis" whom Jackie does battle with, his dubbed over voice is hysterical! Wooden Men is a good film, the costumes are laughable, but the kung fu is strong and very fast. Exactly what a martial arts fan wants to see. Not too much plot, thankfully. For this price, this set is phenomenal!
