Some of Jackie's Better Films,
By Dexter A Jones (Hampton Virginia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dragon Fist [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This was one of Jackies better films.I am not sure what the style that he was using. It looked like a style of wing chun, but modified slightly. The cast is really supporting too,see if you can remember some of them from Bruce Lee and other movies.Check out every bit of this one ,and tell me if you agree with my opinion.I like it but Jackie has made far better.

Great finale if you can stick around for it.,

This movie starts out really slow, but if you are patient, you will be well rewarded. (By the way, do not confuse this with "Dragon Lord" which is a later film which Jackie directed himself). This is a typical Lo Wei film, with the typical avenge-the-death-of-my-master plot. I paid $4 bucks for this film at my local movie store, and if I had just fast-forwarded to the final fight scene, I would have more than gotten my money's worth! However, the movie wasn't that bad, and actually there are several decent fight scenes throughout it. If you like these old costume Kung-Fu films, then this one is worth a look. Oh, one other thing--the end of this is REALLY BLOODY, at least for a Jackie Chan film, so be warned.

Loved the end fight scene,

The last 15 minutes or so does make the movie. I was real impressed with the Tonfa vs Cane battle between Jackie and ???? Anyway, if you are a fan of these older style kung-fu flicks then this one will not disappoint you. Just don't expect to see the more comedy influenced Jackie that you mosty see today. In this one he is all buisness.
