This G17 model is a plastic model of the famous pistol. It is 1/3 scale, and features a removable magazine, working action and pullable trigger. This kit includes a tactical light that can attach to the pistol and a carry case. It is part of the Dragon Models 1/3 Firearm Series. Assembly required.

Well first off you have to understand what 1/3 scale means, ITS A THIRD OF THE ORIGINAL SIZE. so knowing that already i wasnt expecting a full size glock g17 replica. its details are amazing, only thing is, is that you have to build it, paint the bullets and super glue is needed, its an easy build and the results are phenomenal, it came with 2 models. tan/ black. love love love it. dont expect a play durable product, its for show and occasional use.

Dragon G17 gun looks like a toy that a kid could play with. It is not. It is a minature model the size of a stamp. I don't think it should be on the same page as toy guns. I guess I should have known because it says 1/3 but unfortunately I didn't realize what that meant. I have no idea why anyone would buy one of these things unless they wanted all the guns of the world and to store them in a shoe box. I guess this is supposed to be painted by the buyer.

First off, this is of course a 1/3 scale model. Not a children's toy. I had bought it to go along with a few 1/3 scale dolls I own.
First looking at the directions I had no idea how I was going to get this thing together, but I assembled both guns in about 2 hours. (I've only assembled a few models in my day..)
Once I had the first figured out it wasn't too hard to put together. I manged to snap a piece off or two using the bolt action, though I'm betting that's user error. The case I wasn't too impressed with and looks kinda shoddy. I'll probably be cutting the inside foam to fit a gun and clip so it looks more realistic than just sitting on top of it. Next time I would buy the pre made one over the kit, but it looks good with my dolls and over all I'm happy with it.

This took more than a week to ship, it's small enough to fit in my hand (which I admit is my fault for not understanding what 1/3 scale meant) and it broke way too damn easily. Read more

Not what we expected
We didn't read the specs right and so were disappointed. this is not really much of a toy. My son wanted one he could play with, not a tiny model.

Too small.
Didnt realize how small 1/3 scale would be. This is more like a gun for an action fiqure. Works fine, just wouldn't buy again.
