Minetaro Mochizuki, Dragon Head, vol. 6 (Tokyopop, 1998)
Ako and Nimura have finally made it to Izo with Dragon Head, but the survivors they found there are less than welcoming. All Ako wants to to get medicine that will help Teru, but when they get to the hospital, pursued by murderous savages, Ako discovers that maybe Dragon Head knows more about all this than he's capable of telling her... the series is starting to feel kind of episodic, but it's still fascinating. Worth your time. *** ½

Vol. 6 = meh,

Volume #6 of Minetaro Mochizuki's "Dragonhead" is the weakest of the volumes thus far in my humble estimation. While it still manages to be 'decent' it does pale in comparison to the earlier books for several reasons. First off the storyline isn't advanced much. The majority of this volume takes place in 1 location - a crumbling city where chaos and pandemonium reigns. As a result this book is more action oriented as the protagonists are chased from one decayed building to another. While I found this book somewhat disappointing it still is an essential chapter in a series that has managed to keep me utterly captivated thus far.
