5.0 out of 5 stars Another great addition to a really good series
Starting with The Frog Princess this series doesn't disappoint no matter which book you read. Dragon Kiss is another good addition to the story. E.D. Baker makes it easy to read her books, the pace is nice, they are easy to read and hard to put down. Just a charming series from start to finish.

3.0 out of 5 stars Lacking a sidekick, November 10, 2011
This is a fun young teen series. I really loved the first book The Frog Princess. I'll have to feature it in my Flashback Friday post tomorrow.

Audun is a teenage boy dragon in love with a human princess who can turn into a dragon at will. Princess Millie's story is told in book 5 now this is Audun's adventure. Audun has to go on many quests and accomplish what the Dragon King and Court ask of him so the court will grant him his wish. He wants to learn how to turn human for Millie. Audun is honest, noble, and brave; he's easy to like.

What I didn't like was Audun traveling alone on his quests. The story lost my interest during his lonesome travels. I prefer the main character to at least have one 'sidekick' to keep the story moving and dialog flowing. A side character you can depend on and care for. That is just my preference. I wish Auden and Millie were together more since I love their relationship.

It was still a nice clean read that I think young teens would enjoy.

I'm 25 and have been following this series since I found the first book in a second hand store on my honeymoon. They're adorable, original, and well crafted. This one is no different! They blend from the original princess to her daughter nicely and it doesn't feel awkward.

I checked out the audio and played in the car for my 6-yr old daughter. We both loved it. The story was about love, great energy and determination. It also sets good examples about trust and doing the right thing. I certainly will buy the book for our library and more E. D. Baker's books.

5.0 out of 5 stars E.d baker scores again!, November 26, 2009
Being a big E.D. Baker fan, I anticipated this book for a long time. And it wasn't in vain. Once again Baker paints realistic new characters and exciting adventures. This wasn't the same as the others, it felt different, but in a good way. After writing from a females perspective in all of the Frog Princess books, it is quite a feat to tackle things from a male's point of veiw.
I have enjoyed these books since elementary, and i am still enchanted by the way Baker can write storys in such a simplistic, enjoyable manner.
This story will definitley leave you hungry for more. Write on E.D! Write on.....

5.0 out of 5 stars My favorite of the series!, September 19, 2009
All of the books in this series are fun but I liked this one best. I think it is because Audun had to go on many adventures by himself and so it wasn't as mushy as the others. I thought the adventures he went on were very enjoyable to read about.
