Amazing book!,
This review is from: Dragon Lords: The Perfect Prince (Book 2) (Paperback)
I wasn't too sure if I was going to keep reading after the first few pages, but was I happy I did. It seems to start a little slow but it sure does pick up in a bit, so much so I couldn't put the book down I read it in one sitting. The way the characters develop and the situtaions as well they just come together wonderfully, if you want a great read that leaves you smiling at the end, this book is for you.

Pillow does wonders for paranormal romance genre with her Dragon Lords series. The books transport you to a far away plant, inhabited by shifter males in desperate need of brides. Nadja is on the run and hops aboard a ship filled with brides. She isn't planing on marring one of the barbaric men of the alien plant she is being sent to, but Olek knows at once that she is the one for him. Married before she has time to think Nadja must adjust to her new life, and Olek has to learn how to be the man she needs. Full of fun dialog and steamy scenes this book is for all the individuals who enjoy a paranormal love affair. Though I would suggest reading the first book, it's not really necessary as the four books' stories are happening on the same time line with different couples.

This is book two of the Dragon Lords series, and it is even better then the first!
Sparks and jabs really fly between Nadja and Olek, creating a chemistry that's exciting, and sex that's sizzling. I love how the story continues to weave all the characters and the added additions to previous parts that were explored before. I think it gives a fresh look to each situation, seen through different characters eyes. At the same time Pillow is still on the ball with her liberal doses of humor that always leave me laughing and wanting more!

Talk about a laugh riot, this entire series had me rolling around on the ground laughing and giggling to myself. I love all the characters and their immaturity. It felt a real family in each story and I couldn't get enough!

The whole series is great. I have read all four of them. It is definitly something different than I have read in a while, It's a mix between paranormal, sci-fi and fantasy. The stories of how they get there and marry was unique. If you like hot erotic paranormal fantasy books, You will love these. I am now into the fourth of the enemy of the dragon lord- called Lords of the Var and those are equally just as good. With Michelle M. Pillow you just can't go wrong!!
Complaint- Write some more..lol

Dragon Lords: The Perfect Prince (Book 2)
After the breeding ceremony, the Prince brother found his perfect wife. Yet the wife is uncertain she can hide from her harmful father. The scenes in this book are as well hot and steamy. Man I wised I could become part of the Qurilixian planet in the palace of the Draig!

This review is from: The Perfect Prince: Dragon Lords Book Two (Volume 2) (Paperback)
In Book 2 with Perfect Prince, the virgin angle works and the author upped the character so that she is highly intelligent, classy, interesting past and sustains these characteristics throughout the book. The match with this prince totally made sense to me as did their encounters. Loved this book. In some ways, wished I had just spent the money on this one alone as the other 3 fall way below it. |
