Need to find some information on the Web? Just say "search the Web for global warming articles", "search Wikipedia for George Washington Carver" or "search eBay for Batman comic books".
Compared to Version 9, Dragon Medical Small Practice 10.1 delivers significant improvement in response time. Fast speakers will observe more than 50% reduction in the time it takes for words to appear on the screen. Since some speakers pause in their dictation to watch the results, having words appear on the screen sooner facilitates a more seamless dictation experience.
Dragon Medical Small Practice 10.1 includes user profile management and security features for enterprise deployments, as well as roaming user support, and support for Citrix environments.
These features are NOT available in Dragon Medical Small Practice 10.1, but are available in Dragon Medical 10.1

I recently began using this in conjunction with eClinicalWorks as the EMR, and find Dragon to be very good. I am used to dictating quickly to a transcription line, and I do have to slow down a bit and speak clearly. Dragon recognizes almost any medical term accurately, and even recognizes common proper names (e.g., patient's first names, like 'Cecilia' or 'Anna') and that surprised me a bit.
There are lots of tips included indicating how to improve accuracy; it's quite accurate already even before i have begun to use some of the extra activities suggested. I am happy and impressed with Dragon and don't see any limitations to it. I use it for a general adult medicine practice, apparently it can be customized for specialty practices, but I can't speak to that. Recommended without hesitation.

This was purchased for a frustrated Dr. in the practice I work for. It has been a life saver. He LOVES it. When it did not work one day due to computer issues, it was a miserable day! Would recommend for Docs who hate to type!
