4.0 out of 5 stars A detailed but quite small replica
To be honest I was expecting this to be a little larger than it was.
In saying that it is an extremely detailed replica of the Saturn V rocket that is staged (you can detach each major stage) and a good collectors item.
One small complaint is that when assembling all the stages to make the full rocket, some parts are quite hard to fit together correctly.

Stages can be hard to fit together. No LEM. Model is pretty small for the price. You could do better

This is a highly detailed replica of the Saturn V launch vehicle. As the other review has stated, it is at 1/400 scale, so it only stands about 10", but it's high quality detail has made me a true believer in Dragon Models. I intend to buy more of the Space Collection.

I wouldn't buy this if you're planning to give it to a child, as some of the pieces are incredibly small (the command module on top is only about 1 cm long), but any fan of space should get this.

When you're putting it together, be sure to find the little notches that line up with tabs within the stages. This makes it a whole lot easier to put together.

I would have liked a taller mode, (a least 2 feet high) but it was too expensive for my budget. This model of Saturn V is only half inch taller than the other I own

This product is beautiful, but some of the pieces didn't fit exactly. Return policy is very good, and for that, I thank you!

Received this model and it wasn't in 40th anniversary packaging as shown . Returned as I wasn't sure if replacement would be the same.

3.0 out of 5 stars A great replica with no assemply required, but too fragile as a toy, September 17, 2011

Our 3 year old loves this, but each time he uses it we need to get the super glue out to re attach an engine. It is just not meant as a toy. It is also pretty small (command module is about one CM). But it is a nice, solid feeling replica, maybe for an older child or a teenager.
