This is a great die cast model ofthe Saturn 1B rocket...great detail and it does look like the actual launch vehicle the launched the first manned Apollo flight!I highly recommended this model (die cast..already assembled). The only wish I have was that it was a little bigger but because of the detail, I am very satisfied! I hope they do the Saturn 1B/ Skylab 2 model soon!

SA-205 is probably the most colorful of all Saturn 1Bs. Dragon does a pretty good job but for a Saturn rocket purist (like me)it suffers from one major flaw: the CSM diameter is too small, throwing off the taper angle of the SLA (spacecraft/lunar module adapter). Same problem with the Saturn V. Don't be too put off with this flaw, it is a nice model otherwise.

I know they list this as a toy, but it's more of a collectible. Nice detail on this Dragon Models recreation of a Saturn 1B without taking up a whole lot of room in your collection.
