5.0 out of 5 stars This game rules!
Those idiots who wrote that long, boring review under-rated this game! It's really fun. You dragon isn't an actual dragon (fire breathing winged reptile). It's fun to see how your dragon turns out when it's older. My cousin raised his dragon hard, and he got this three headed monstrosity! I raised my dragon, and got this winged rat. Your dragon only lives 30 days, but if...

3.0 out of 5 stars A good change from your everyday average playstation game.
This game has a worthy plot. Definately a change from the normal sports, fighting and roll playing games i've come to predict. By choosing different words you can create different types of dragons. You enter your dragon in combat to win money. With your money you pay for your dragons weapons and his training. The game was not very impressive as far as graphics go, but...

This game has a worthy plot. Definately a change from the normal sports, fighting and roll playing games i've come to predict. By choosing different words you can create different types of dragons. You enter your dragon in combat to win money. With your money you pay for your dragons weapons and his training. The game was not very impressive as far as graphics go, but the dragons themselves are well drawn. To play the game to its fullest potential you need 2 memory cards, one in each slot. The one in slot 2 must be empty in order to store dragons you capture from the wild. You can also trade dragons with other people by means of memory cards. Over all it was more interesting than anything else. If you want a chance to master a game thats not like most of whats out there this is a good one to start with.

It's fun to see how your dragon turns out when it's older. My cousin raised his dragon hard, and he got this three headed monstrosity! I raised my dragon, and got this winged rat. Your dragon only lives 30 days, but if you can get it to the Super level it never dies of old age. Although I wish your dragon couldn't die in battle, that would be way better... But it's fun, and it's hilarious if your playing with ther people watching when your dragon evolves. Anyway, this game is a definate MUST BUY!

5.0 out of 5 stars Gamestop Is not good with reviews. Trust me. I know., September 29, 2005

= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars

Dragon Seeds is an incredible game. You would probably not guess
that it was made in 1999. Gamestop sucks, by the way. Don't take
crap from them. If you want a trustworthy review, go to IGN. Dragon Seeds is an incredible RPG based game. It mixes in skill,
luck, movement, and ingenuity. There are so many of attacks and
other things to choose from, it will make your head spin. One new
thing bravely came out of Dragon Seeds, and that is the concept of age. 1 day for a human is 1year for a Dragon. So instead of your Dragon leveling up, you age it. There are also plenty of
types to choose from, and the name of your dragon decides their attributes. There are crustacean, fairy, phantom, flying, and beetle dragons, and you choose their long-range attacks between
fire, ice\water, and lightening\thunder. One dragon phantom type
I once trained turned into an adult form cabinet, and one of my
fairies never overaged or died. It just stopped aging at 21yrs. old. Overall, Dragon Seeds has way more elements than I just described, and more is discovered as you meet other dragons and
go other places. Only one downside: the characters are not very interactive, but what do you expect? 1999, people, just remember. And in case you don't know, gamestop is comparing a
2001 game to one from 1999. Now do you see why they're terrible
at reviews? Well, that just about wraps it up. Get the game. Don't ask questions, just get it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dragon Seeds Review from a 13 year old's view, May 14, 2001
This review is from: Dragon Seeds (Video Game)
I REALLY like games involving raising and battling monsters. I also like RPGs (which is basically the same thing). This is a killer game, I think, but I would recommend trying to rent it before buying because your tastes might be different from mine.

Game was not what my son thought it would be. Played for a day, and was done with it. Vender did a good job getting it to us, but again I would not order this game again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Come for the gameplay, stay for the music, April 6, 2007
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Dragon Seeds (Video Game)
Basically, this is a game that has no real ending. You defeat the last "boss" and can continue playing indefinately. Which could turn monotonous after a while if not for one thing... the music. The music, coupled with the designs for the dragons, keeps me coming back, long after the gameplay becomes tiresome. I would love for there to be a soundtrack to this game, but alas, there is none that I am aware of. Its a good addition to a game library, but not for everyone.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good as it can be, March 18, 2004

I just love this game. Its not Pokemon, its not Monster Rancher, and its not Digimon. This game is pure stratedgy not luck. I love the fact that you can raise dragons to battle and watched them evolve and with available dragons on PS save data, you can have more and more dragons (16 actually). My point is... I got no point!!! Play the damn game!!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars This game is cool but I won to quickly, June 21, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Dragon Seeds (Video Game)
Dragon seeds is an awsome game. I really like it, but it was quite easy to figure out how to get the dragons levels up fast and win (and I wont tell you so you can figure it out for yourself). The graphics were good for the time the game was made. It seems to be a good storey(I like how the junk man and the shop owner are fighting all the time), and I will enjoy playing it for a long time.
