Great educational fun,

The whole "Dragon Tales" series is GREAT. It helps kids deal with emotions (like when Max is so angry that he releases 'the fury", and has to learn to calm down in order to capture it before it harms others), teaches them to share and take turns, and to help friends in need.I particularly like the songs and dancing between episodes. It gets my child "on her feet" rather than just sitting for the whole hour in front of the tv set. It's wonderful!!! If you have a pre-schooler, this is the show to watch.

My sister is 6, and she just LOVES this show, and especially these three episodes. While most people think that the characters are annoying and insipid, I find that while kind of obviously dumb, I would let my kids watch this ANY day over Barney or Rugrats. The morals are good, and they use interesting ways to get their point across, as well as encouraging the children to jump up and exercize during their songs between stories. I would reccomend this show to just about anyone who wants good clean videos for their children.

Lovely, colorful, great entertainment with catchy music. Teaches patience and waiting your turn - universal themes that are hardfor little ones to master. Shows good manners such as when one dragon burps and says excuse me. Never speaks down to audience. Equal treatment of boys and girls. Kids who watched were "all smiles." They very much related to the characters and their challenges. One four-year-old said, "One kid got mad, and a bad fairy grew bigger as he got madder. But his friends helped him to get unmad and then the fairy got small." Best for 2 to 5-year-olds.
