Beautiful, yet flimsy,
By Shadow Breaker "Be true to yourself." (Between the worlds) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dragon Tarot by Nigel Suckling (Paperback)
While the card backings, trump cards and major arcana have beautifully rendered pictures the lower cards have only simple illustrations. The 3 wands for instance and no other markers to help you identify the card, so if you are a beginner this deck may not be the best one for you. The actual cards are huge so if you have small hands they are hard to shuffle. You also need to keep in mind that these cards are extremely thin for your average deck so you need to be extra careful not to damage it.
The deck is beautiful, although I am still really undecided how much I am in love with it. I would have rated it 3 stars if I had not liked the illustrations of the arcana so much.

A Tarot Deck to stimulate your imagination!,
By Ruby Blackbird Carpenter "Ruby Blackbird Carp... (Island in the Puget Sound) - See all my reviews

These cards are beautiful. They feel like regular playing cards. Although a bit longer and wider than regular playing cards, they are actually slightly smaller than the other two tarot decks I have. I really enjoy the medieval/fantasy nature of the cards.
