About the Author
Renowned worldwide for his playful, innovative storytelling and humorous, distinctive art style, Akira Toriyama burst onto the manga scene in 1980 with the wildly popular Dr. Slump. His hit series Dragon Ball (published in the U.S. as Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z) ran from 1984 to 1995 in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. He is also known for his design work on video games such as Dragon Quest, Chrono Trigger, Tobal No. 1 and, most recently, Blue Dragon. His recent manga works include COWA!, Kajika, Sand Land, Neko Majin, and a children's book, Toccio the Angel. He lives with his family in Japan.

Just because most reviews are by kids doesn't mean this is a kiddie comic. The artwork, storyline, and violence is all a treat. Read Vols. 1-5 first, and then read this one. To read DBZ more often, read Shonen Jump magazine. For a more detailed review read my editorial for DBZ Vol. 1, "This is a masterpiece" and for you DBZ readers already, read my other review "A Piece of Brilliance in Your Hand" for Vol. 5

Color Pages Have Wrong colors,

I was looking through the volume to look at the color pages got to them it was Trunks vs Cell and then i noticed that all the pages had trunks hair this Red /Orange color When it is supposed to be Yellow i don't know if i got a messed up volume or what but i was disappointed other than that huge mess up on the color pages its a great buy
