Great Boxed Set!!!!!!!!,
By "greg23342" (Holyoke, Ma USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: DragonBall Z: Babidi (DVD)
This is one of the best boxed sets out there, babidi saga is kind of slow in the begining but the fights are great, Gohan and Daburas fight is awesome and goku and vegeta's fight is even better, even thou you should get the Majin Buu saga after so you can see what happens in Goku's and vegeta's fight. Worth it to buy......

Babidi,

The Babidi Saga is an interesting one, there are many famous fights in the saga and many famous characters. For example, Dabura and Majin Buu are introduced! Even Majin Vegita! At first, I was reluctant to buy this but I remembered- it's a really good Saga! Seriously, the fights (eg. Gohan vs. Dabura) are amazing and the concepts are equally amazing. Plus, these DVDs come with Japanese version DBZ- the main reason for you wanting to purchase the DVDs right? While I don't really like Babidi, he bugs me... I think this Boxset it good for the DBZ fan you are.

Babidi is a little ugly runt,
By Ronnie Clay "R.C." (Winnsboro, Louisiana) - See all my reviews

The animation is a little childish and more comedy then the eariler DBZ episodes it's just alright. Magin Buu is free and Gohan can't defeat him not even the supreme kai. Vegeta the evil prince of Saiyans does something that no one ever thinks of for the sake of his love one's he gives away his own life by making a big explosion.

Babidi The Most annoying character but a great box set,
By Jer "kingjer151" (Long Island, New York) - See all my reviews

The babidi saga takes place after the world tournament. They Z fighters must defeat the people in babidi's space ship so that they can decend in the levels and get to Babidi and Majin Buu's incubator. This saga is where Majin Vegeta comes into place and we finally get to see Vegeta and Goku fight. A must have for all DBZ fans. This box set has great fight scenes, but then again all of DBZ has great fight scenes.

Reviews of DBZ in general,

Every review of DBZ DVDs I have seen on this site focuses entirely on the PLOT. Now, don't you people realize that anyone buying this DVD ALREADY KNOWS the plot, and even if they didn't, don't particularly care what OTHER PEOPLE think of it?Relevant peices of information are things that you can't find out just by looking at wikipedia, or the product information itself Like these: -How is the video quality? Grainy? Clear? -How is the audio/video synching? -Is this actually voiced by FUNimation dub actors? -Is the music actually Bruce Falconer's American dub score? -What episodes are in the DVD set? -Is this actually uncut? I swear, looking through 50 reviews of DBZ and seeing that same "the fights are pretty great, some parts are boring, overall I liked it. the end" reviews is really, really sad. |
