This review is from: DragonBallZ 6.5" Detailed Figure and Diorama Super Saiyan Goku (Toy)
I am quite pleased with my Super Saiyan Goku figure/diorama. It's a very good depiction of Goku from the anime series Dragon Ball Z (unlike several other Goku figures I'd viewed here before choosing this one for purchase). The detail is excellent, and - as indicated in my review title - his elaborate, spiky hairdo alone was enough to impress me. The coloring job is also good and true-to-character; though there are a few seemingly ill-placed orange spots that don't really detract from the overall look of the figure.

The figure comes with a base as well as an alternate set of attachable arms. It wasn't difficult to attach Goku's foot to a peg jutting up from the base and wasn't necessarily unstable, but I wouldn't chance picking up the entire diorama without supporting it from underneath. As for the included arms: one set of arms makes Goku appear as though he is readying a Kamehame-Ha attack, and the other set of arms includes an attached Kamehame-Ha blast "shooting" from his outward facing palms. I decided to attach the first set of arms because the weight of the plastic Kamehame-Ha made the figure unbalanced and prone to falling over. When I first removed the figure from the box it was somewhat slimy to the touch, but I assume that it was simply a remnant of the item's manufacture and wiped much of it off with just soft tissue paper.

Assembly was exceedingly simple, and the complete figure is both sturdy when placed on display (with the aformentioned set of arms) and just the right size to be visually appealing without occupying too much space. Also, I would consider the amount I paid for the item at the time to be very reasonable, and I am glad I purchased it when I did.
