The battery life is roughly 55 minutes on video mode, and about 30 minutes with the near-infrared lights on. Mine doeas not indicate when it is fully charged so I simply plug it in after each use and leave it there till I need it again. In low lightit picks up well, however the video is purply/green of NV mode, not really a problem but worth mentioning. The NIR ledas are good for 0-1.5m at best, however if your handy with a soldering iron you can make an emittwr with readily availible parts...like a tv remote control or three.. Picture quality is as stated and is very good for a camera this small and at this price point. The camera is hard to stabilize for a decent shot though, so be sure to place it on a solid surface then press the button, or uae trhe lanyard as a stabilzer. Main issue I have is that the On/Off button is sensitive...like ridiculiously sensitive. I placed a small spring inside between the exterior button and over the interior button but to no avail. If its in your pocket it will turn on and run itself down, and if you're trying to record with it the slightest wrong movement will turn it off. Lost one contract because of that, can't blame the manufacturer completely cause I should have had a backup, but still a royal p-i-t-a to deal with. My suggestion to the manufacturer is to either change the locations of the On/Off & Mode buttoons, recess them, or add a stiff leaf/coil spring under them to prevent accidental activation. For the TLDR crowd: worth the money and wait, but the buttons are very sensitive. I'll buy another when this on dies, even with the issues mentioned, it's really a great little camera.

I purchased this camera for one of the rated specifications of 30 frames per second and immediately notice that the video was jerky/choppy but the quality is good. I checked out the properties of the recorded video from the camera and it measured only 19 frames per second which is almost half of what is stated in the specifications. This was a big disappointment to me to find out the specs are incorrect on the frame rate.

The camera has very poor quality, all colors are close to violet. It becomes extremely hot after 5 min of charging.

GOOD: The video is pretty smooth as long as you use a high speed micro SD card (aka TF card). I'm using a Class 10 Transcend which has a very high write speed, which is what you need when recording video. The red LED blinks when it's charging, and stays solid red when it's done charging. My buttons are pretty reliable. I haven't had an accidental engagement yet, even after literally tossing it into my Timbuk2 bag to go to work. So far, it's worth what I paid. Ordered it on Feb 15, received on Feb 25.

BAD: The included USB cable is not a typical mobile phone style micro USB connector (or a mini USB connector) on the camera side, so plan on toting the included cable with you if you need to charge on the go. The LED indicators on the back are VERY bright (probably so that you can see them when using it outside) but I'm using it in my pitch black nursery so I covered them with some 5% window tint film and tape, that I had laying around. The built in IR LEDs are almost worthless, but with an external IR LED array the camera see's fantastically in the dark. I put it side by side with my Foscam 9821 netcam's IR lights to check. Finally, the driver CD that they included is corrupt. I can't read off of it to pull the drivers or to turn off the timestamp. If anyone finds the drivers online somewhere, please let me know. The cam is still functional otherwise, as a standalone DVR albeit for an hour at a time, when the battery dies.

Returned, unusable. It looks like the lens is pushed in slightly on one side. Completely out of focus. Faint rattle . Example, you can tell the photo is a plate and a utensil but unable to determine any pattern or which utensil. Outdoors, even worse. Amusing-- the user manual translation into English is almost comedy and thus worthless. There are two leds (red and blue) which alternately blink or remain on which determine which mode the camera is in. If you keep pushing buttons you eventually can record at 1080 or 720. Field of view is about the same as 28mm on a 35mm camera, not fisheye. The AVI files were saved complete on the TF card. I found only one frame glitch which happened when panning. Also a slight whine in the audio. Camera weighs 38 grams, metal case, not plastic. If the camera were in focus it would be worth twice what I paid for it. As is, worthless.
