4.0 out of 5 stars Good, but lacks in fighting, February 11, 2003
By
Mike "Falcon" (Chicago, IL United States) - See all my reviews
This is a great DBZ DVD, even though it hardly has any fighting in it at all. The episodes do, however, have a great storyline and some very funny humor. Also, I found out Gohan turns into a super-saiyan in the Perfect Cell Saga DVD: PERFECTION and not in this one. Here are their descriptions:

What is the Tournament?
The Z fighters clean up after the aftermath of their fight with Cell. Goku and Gohan are still training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. The fighters regroup and Master Roshi tells them about what the tournament is. Cell makes the arena for the Cell Games.

The Doomsday Broadcast
Everyone gets ready for the Cell Games. Yamcha and Krillin try to train, but fail. Gohan has a halarious dream and Cell announces his Cell games to the world on TV in a really funny way.

Meet me in the Ring
Goku and Gohan finally come out of the Time Chamber, Cell continues to terrorize people and Goku goes and stares down cell.

NOTE: Again, if you want a lot of fighting, you won't find it here. However, these are some of the funniest episodes and they really build up to the Cell Games.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ultimatum, June 21, 2001
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Dragonball Z - Cell Games - Ultimatum (Edited) [VHS] (VHS Tape)
What is the Tournament?: While Trunks tells the others of Cells plans to hold a tourament, the diabolical andriod begins his preparations for the competition by constructing a fighting arena. Do the Z-Fighters have a chance, or is this a one-sided contest that only Cell can win.

The Doomsday Broadcast: Cell breaks into showbiz - literally! The sinister andriod hijacks a television station in order to announce his Cell games to the world! But are there any challengers left with the strenght and courage to get into the ring?

Meet me in the Ring: All across the globe, the good citizens of earth panic.

4.0 out of 5 stars There r better DBZ videos, July 4, 2001
By A Customer
This video was mainly on how the z fighters prepare for the coming of the cell games. Goku shows off his power when he and gohan come out of the chamber. Cell makes his broadcast and creates the ring and thats pretty much it.
